once you get to level 55, you can prestige which simply means you reset all achievements and guns etc...
you then go through the 55 levels again and can then prestige again... theres a total of 10 prestige levels and each one gives you a new medal/icon...
currently on prestige 6, level 22... reallys keeps you coming back to the game and increases the games longevity...

160GB PS3 coming to North America
Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) today announced plans to introduce a new 160GB PLAYSTATION(R)3 (PS3(TM)) computer entertainment system in North America as part of the limited-edition Uncharted: Drake's Fortune(TM) PS3 system bundle.
Slated to launch in November for $499.99 (MSRP), the 160GB PS3 system will come bundled with the hit game, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune(TM), a PLAYSTATION Network voucher for PAIN, and a DUALSHOCK(R)3 wireless controller. The previously announced 80GB PS3 system ($399.99 MSRP) has started shipping to retailers.

Call Of Duty 4 simply has to be the best game i have ever played.
Grand Theft Auto 4 is the biggest let down i've ever come across in a game.
I have Call Of Duty 5, Fifa '09 and M.A.G on order, but it's going to take a really spectacular game to stop me playing COD 4.

I haven't played COD 4 and I'd say its not really my type of game. I disagree about GTA 4. I think its brilliant. Definitely getting FIFA 09 though.

don't have many games right now and don't really have the money to spend on them. If i did get a game what would you guys recommend?

Burnout Paradise and metal gear solid 4 are good games.
motorstorm pacific rift looks good, but that comes out in October i think |

Depends what sort of games you like.

There is of course Gran Turismo 5 coming soon. (Next year i think). This will have the Top Gear track on it (so i read in a magazine)

With Prologue there is exclusive videos to download through the PS3 internet connection.
Now this is the game i'm personally waiting for. It's called MAG (Massive Action Game). The game will utilize a new server architecture to support online battles with up to 256 players, with users divided into 8-player squads.

Sounds like SO much fun, but it's got Call Of Duty 4 to beat, and that for me is going to be a MASSIVE task for any game.

yea i have ratchet and clank future:tools of destruction. It gets kinda boring once you get the ryno and beat the game 20 times

Yeah I can personally recommend GT5 Prologue, Burnout Paradise and MGS 4 (though I've hardly played it even though I've had it since release) as well, because I have them. I know not everyone here agrees but I'll throw GTA 4 into the mix if you don't already own it. Its currently the game I play most, and you can just keep coming back to it... Its one of those games. You gotta be 18 though!

if u like ratchet and clank u can download Quest for Booty of the PSN.... it only costs £9.99 (GPB £) and has around 5-7hrs gameplay.... improved graphics from the first ps3 one and a steal at that price!!!

Sounds good, but I thought Hideo Kojima was leaving as well. I thought he already confirmed he won't be making the next MGS, if one is made.

nah Kojima's staying...he confirmed in an interview a few days ago...Ryan Payton is leaving because of some personal problems...
and rumors are going around that this will be centered around Big Boss..with the timeframe being WWII...an entirely new plot with characters from the past...
