Was in town a little while ago, CPW dont have them yet (next week) nor do Vodafone, though voda are doing a pre-order approach (£20 deposit), voda said they're only getting the black one on the 23rd, so friday

Didnt bother asking P4U and o2 (forget orange and t-mobile - they'll never get a handset first ), try and keep the thread updated with stock alerts and prices.

EDIT: £400+ on ebay is crazy, i may get a few and sale them for £350 if i get any before the weekend

haha...bidding ended at £820....nigerian scammers strike again! Ebay is getting a nightmare for selling phones recently. But saying that this auction looked a bit suspect.

I was planning on getting the black/orange version off o2, as i got a contract upgrade due, and sell it on ebay and put the cash towards a sim free silver/black one....not so sure now i see how much hassle its going to be trying to sell the latest phones via ebay...boo!

Hi all,
Yes E-Bay is becoming a bit of a nightmare but there a few simple steps you can take to make it easier and safer. State no one under x amount of positive feed backs can bid without contacting you first or their bid will be removed and aslo state UK only as delivering outside the UK makes things harder to prove signed for delivery with tracking and Insurance. Accept only Pay Pal or Postal orders or cash on collection and also state to be able to pay by Pay Pal they will need to have a confirmed and verified account. Lastly and very important don' just accept a Pay Pal e-mail showing the buyer has paid actually log into your Pay Pal account and check for the transaction there as that is one of the ways the Pay Pal scam catches people out. Lastly as they used to say in Hill Street Blues

"Be careful out there People"

Heres something I just though of.

Many people are complaining about the "side connector" on this phone. But they also seem curious as to why it is there and not at the bottom.

How about the MXE-60 xenon flash. If the connector was on the bottom of this phone the flash would be as far away from the camera as possible. But with it being underneath (thinking when held sideways for pics) it may be better?

Just a thought.

@coxy: i agree with you. the fastport is not in the correct position for the mxe-60. anyways, if the fastport would had been placed in the other side, how would you take a pic? would it be uncomfortable to take one. imo.

I just tried my MXE-60 flash on my W880i and it came up as "NOT SUPPORTED" on the screen.
It doesn't work.
