My new K750i, loving it! |

Incidentally, I bought a 1gb Sandisk M2 card for my K610im a few days back. However, I'm quite disappointed with the K610 and will be selling it. So I'm using the M2 card with my K750i now and I noticed that it takes a significantly shorter amount of time to save a picture after taking it, compared to my 512mb Sony MSPD which I was using prior to this.

Sorry you didn't like the K610i. Hubby had one of those, nice phone and interface (similar to my K810i), but the camera is crap on it.

Oh, mine was the K610im, the i-mode version which doesn't support java apps, that's the main reason I'm so disappointed with it. I need to use Opera Mini and the Gmail app. The K610i was what I wanted to get, unfortunately, my service provider only offered the i-mode version. I'm off to get a W810i now, hope to get a good price for trading-in my K610im. With any luck, you'll see me posting here about my new W810i real soon!

I'm pretty sure you will like the W810i, it's a nice phone. Can't bear to part with mine.

Well, guess what? I just bought the W810i! And I'm looking forward to experiencing the excitement I had when I first got my K750i! I'm hoping I wasn't unlucky enough to get a defective one, you know how it is with electronics. By the way, does anyone know what's the latest firmware and erom version? I don't have access to a computer right now. Thanks!

I've been using my K750i for almost a year now, it's been an absolute joy to use. As I've mentioned in my previous post, I bought a W810i because the joystick on my K750i has started to act up. Now, the W810i is everything the K750i is, and then some. So I'm really satisfied with it and this brings me to the intent of this post.
I can't decide whether to sell my K750i or not. It's been great and all, but I really have no need for two phones since my W810i can do everything my K750i can do. Besides, I could really do with some spare cash right now (who doesn't? ).
However, my K750i has served me well and I'm a bit reluctant to sell it since it's in very good condition (I take real good care of my phones, have never dropped my K750i once) complete with box and accessories and with about a month's warranty left and I know the second-hand mobile phone shops will rip me off anyway.
Many of the shops here are still selling new K750s and I know it's a sign of its capabilities. I don't mind keeping it as a spare phone and it'll be a darn good one at that in any case. So, your opinions please, people. They'll be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi deluded,
I myself have a K750i which i bought more than 2 yrs ago, and it's still in very good condition (people usually don't believe me when i say it's 2 yrs old). I plan to buy the W960 a few months after its release (to give SE some time to iron out the bugs and to drop the price a bit), but i think i'll keep my K750i.
I don't think i can sell it for a good price (though i have a 1GB MSDuopro and HPM-70 headphones that i bought as extra), and i'll keep it as spare phone, like for when i travel or go to parties and will be too afraid to lose/damage my W960
Plus, the picture quality is still one of the best around for such a compact device, it's always handy to have it with you... |

@benitorios, I see where you're coming from, and if I were you, I'd do the same thing too! But for me, it's a bit different because the K750 and W810 are very similar in terms of physical characteristics as well as functions. So it does seem unnecessary for me to keep my K750. However, one point you mentioned does make me want to keep my K750. As you've mentioned, you won't be able to get a good price if you were to sell yours now, neither can I. That is one major consideration that I have. If I can't get a good price for it, I might as well keep it as a spare phone rather than let the second-hand mobile phone shops rip me off.

So it was with a heavy heart that I brought my K750 to a second-hand mobile phone shop on Friday to sell it. That morning, as I took it out to do a master reset before putting it back in the box, I felt an indescribable feeling of familiarity as well as a tinge of reluctance. It's been a couple of weeks since I last used my K750 as I've been using my newly bought W810. However, having the K750 in my hands felt really good, it was a feeling I'd gotten accustomed to. At that moment, I was very tempted to change my mind. But I knew I really didn't need to have 2 phones, so thus ended my year-long experience with my K750. It was great to have started my Sony Ericsson experience with a remarkable phone, and I'm sure my W810 would serve me as well as my K750 did. I hope my K750 will bring the joy of owning an phone to another person.
