zainahmed: you need to buy an external Bluetooth GPS Receiver Unit for the Navigator to work.

@solja786: 10mb is a very small amount of data. how often and how heavily do you use your gprs? it will barely last you a week, no more than that. unless of course you specifically browse WAP only sites. then it would last a bit more. if your planning to get a package why not get the unlimited one? it costs 500 and you can use it 24/7.

@QVGA: yes its for postpaid. there are four packages available:

GPRS120: Line Rent - Rs. 120 Free Units - 10MB Rate - Rs.10/Mb
GPRS200: Line Rent - Rs. 200 Free Units - 20MB Rate - Rs. 8/Mb
GPRS240: Line Rent - Rs. 240 Free Units - 30 MB Rate - Rs.6/Mb
GPRS Infinity: Line Rent - Rs. 500 Free Units - Unlimited

Each of these packages require you to submit Rs.500 as a security fee.

@nyb: do you mean to say that the security fee is additional and non-refundable?

@zainahmed: a GPS receiver will put a hole of at least Rs. 12,000 or more in your pocket.

@ Zain Ahmed.

You have to leave the user ID and the password blank. You only have to give the dialing number.

i am using mobilink GPRS ... their speed plain sucks .... i can hardly get a total download speed of ~0.5 KB/s (around 450 bytes/second) most of the times in my desktop browser .... the speed is always the same ..... the signal strength is around 90% so not a signal issue.

are you other mobilink gprs users getting the same problem? ....

if not ..what can the issue be? ... i am using my k750i as a modem on my desktop ...the extra initilizing string is added to the modem options in control panel ..and other settings are right as well ...

whats with this freaking rippy ass mobilink service ...you guys at orascom suck .. plain and simple...mobilink sucks ass...

First of all, you dont to do the settings manually. If you have the PC suite for K750, it can set the connection up automatically. I have used mobilink on my desktop with K750 and i got 4.5kb/sec.
