Ying, ur welcome but damn do i miss that phone. Navigating is easier w/ the R520 than the T39. M looking at another R520 CE but the owner isnt realy selling it. The face plate is busted up but the kdypad is plastic. Hope she chenges her mind. If ever i'll just keep it around.

The R520 may be an old phone (ar it has reached End of Life) but it sure can go head to head with the best of them.

Hi guys, nice to know that there is a special thread for T39 and R520 users.

I have a T39m with R4A software, its still have that font inconsistency problem. I brought it to SE Sercice Center here in the Philippines but thay told me they wasn't able to flash my software to euro version, they tried so many times but the phone didn't accept that euro version. So I have to stick with the Tagalog & Chinese language and also with the font inconsistency.

Do you guys have any comment and suggestion? thanks..

@r361: Try Smartnet. They have more experience with that. I got that font problem before. Got R3B Asian-Latin FW. They upgraded this to R4A and it was fixed. They also fixed the standby bug & battery life improved a bit.

@r361, jperthllave: i also have that problem right now. My unit is a
replacement unit provided by Smartnet (FW: R3B). Unfortunately for some reason, they also
could not fix this problem. So I also have to stick with the Tagalog & Chinese
language and also with the font size inconsistency problem.

my unit was a replacement unit too from semicon. I have this feeling that the unit that we got as a replacement unit was actually an "mc" unit. I have this "guessing" because my T39 has this "prgCXC125337" (when we check the software version) which is just the same with my girlfriend T68mc, and my T68i has prgCXC125265 (which I can upgrade to euro version).

I've tried to bring it to Smartnet, and just as SonyEricsson Service Center itself they can't fix the problem.

I got my unit replaced for the 2nd time by SonyEricsson S.C., but still the problem hasn't solved.

Sad story huh...

The very best of the best. Actually I dont think the T68 neither of them can stand up to this peice of craftmanship. RA RA RA

If it where possible id marry mine.

Hey guys, were only 85 posts from the top 20 list.
