Ok I have gone through this nail and tooth including the supplied cd and I can not find any activesync applications or blackberry connect software...So either they aint ready upon release as previously one with other models we will have to wait and see.
If anyone has BB or active sync please do a backup of 3rd party applications and send it to me...
Thanks

Right I looked at the cd and see that there is a folder called Ericsson Mobile Organizer a quick google shows that this is what is need for push email and synchronisation.
Ok I am sure you can all see my desperation.

No BB shipped with the M600 just like the E61? Is there a site where you can find it for future downloads? Nokia has a business site that has BB connect for E-series phones coming in a few weeks. The only reason for getting these business phones is if they have push e-mail function IMO. That's really important for me. |

Exactly the same reason as me, I got rid of my Qtek S200 thinking this was enabled now I am in a difficult position, I have searched all over the web and nothing is out for UIQ 3. Waiting game now.

Well I bought the E61 for now and I'm waiting for the P990 to release. Hopefully when the P990 is out BB client will already be available for UIQ. I bought the E61 knowing that I will be able to find the BB connect software online. |

The email client shows the IMAP idle functions in the settings but i was not able to test it.
Firmware is R1A088 and I think that the hardware is the final one but the poduction series might get a newer firmware. It's still very slow and the phone does no boot every time you switch it on.
I'm getting used to that new UIQ 3 interface but V.2 was more simple to use. In V.3 some important function are placed in sub-sub-sub-menus.
and PIM capabilities have not changed much since UIQ2. Calendar functions etc. are like it was on my P910. Only the interface changed.

So any other help, or if this isn't it, let me know ASAP.

Oh, and to add, here's a few things the guys at my-symbian wanted to know:
Phone is made in France,
I suppose I could take the PC suite off the CD, could also make an image of the CD if it would be of interest if someone could provide an FTP to upload it to.
For the some images of the install window...

And no, there is no manual in any format on the CD.
Enjoy.

Thats interesting, your pc suite is different from mine. Mmm so does your phone have any software like the BB connect or active sync preinstalled? you might want to check on the memory stick.
Thanks

Well, have taken a look, but... I did just do a Master reset, which seemed to lose a few things. (One thing i noticed was Vijay singh golf), so, maybe it was there...
Otherwise, no, it's not on the phone, only potentially in the PC suite.
Cheers, Daz.

It's also gone from the global web site as well. And, it's gone from HBH-DS970 bluetooth stereo handsfree. I've been dying to get my hands on both for ages. Finally!! |
