Then how come Eldar's comparison is the complete opposite?

btw Anyone has an idea of how well the Arc may be selling so far?

That's what I'm talking about!!
He's fake.

As for sales I didn't ever see any data regarding sny device... Or almost any.

But I have the question:
What is a good navigation for Arc/Android?!
I can't find any!!!

Dude, try this one https://market.android.com/de[....]com.waze&feature=search_result

Very good, and its free!

Well I'm looking for a professional application like TomTom.

It will available to the other XPERIA device later with firmware update, I think.

For now, only XPERIA mini and mini pro have this exclusive features first when both launching sometime in Q3 (June regards from Official SE site)

Had my ARC for 5weeks 3days and only one noticeable reeboot after updating to 3.0.A.2.184 (stock rom), no major problems and some success with FPse (PSX4Droid Force Closes). I am still very happy with my arc.

Does anyone know what the fixes/additions on .184 firmware were? I heard that it was only a UK specific update to add iplayer.

Ok, I've had my silver Arc for just less than a week now, and I've been using it extensively downloading apps and customizing it to my needs, just basically getting the most out of it.

I've experienced two unexpected restarts, and one freeze. Also, when I plug in the microUSB with the A/C power adapter touchscreen becomes EXTREMELY sensitive. However, using the car charger or USB from computer (same cable) screen acts normally. I'm guessing it's got something to do with heat because battery heats up more with A/C and ambient temperature is always above 25-30 degrees C.

I don't mind the restarts and freezing, I know I've been treating it too harsh just to get the most out of it, but the touchscreen issue, any ideas?

I have had the same touchscreen issues while charging, but only with a non-SE mains-to-USB charger. I have 3 Sony Ericsson mains charging units (that I've used with the same micro USB cable) and they all work fine. If you're using a SE branded one then I suspect it might be faulty.

Using SE chargers is better not because it's original but because it is rated to specific ampere that is perfect for charging that specific battery

If you used higher rated charger ( more Amperes (or mA) ) the battery will for sure charge faster. but it will be hotter and this will decrease it's life too ( the life of the battery it self )...

lower rated chargers will give you longer battery life ( overall battery life ). and will not be that hot while charging, but will require more time to charge...

Some peoples just search for the highest rated chargers like 1A and 2A and they are using a brand charger for safety and trust reasons... but as I said before if you want non-SE charger or want to use one, try looking for one with as close as possible charging current if you want to have the best of your battery and does not want to have hot charging temps...

regarding the main-AC charger and car charger, just look at how much current both chargers provides.. I know some SE car chargers provide 0.5 A ( 500 mA ) and some newer models provide 1A ( 1000mA ).. while standard main AC charging have more non uniform numbers ( I mean not like 500mA or 1000mA ) some chargers has in 700mA or 600 range...

SE choosing of the current depends mostly on the perfect formula between battery capacity ( charging time required ) and heating while charging... and this is to have the best overall battery live while maintaining good charging time and accepted level of heat while charging...

regardless of SE or any other manufacturer... try to use cool place for charging not too cool but regular relaxed temp.. something in 20 - 25 C... AFAIK 22-23 is rated to be the regular official room temps where most companies do their tests... going higher will just make the battery becomes hotter.. and going lower will decrease the efficiency of charging... you know batteries are all about chemicals that needs nice temps and works perfectly in a narrow range of temps...

I am unsure if this is true or not. But I spoke to a Carphone Warehouse sales member today who told me that Sony Ericsson has pulled thousands of Arc handsets from sale due to cracked screens. Apparently when stock arrived they opened the boxes to find they all had cracked screens. The new fresh batch will be in 25th May. I am sceptical though as their website shows in stock and the sales team could be making up stories to only sell what they have on contract. As I was willing to get another Arc and try again.

Probably some clumsy guy dropped all the boxes lol.

My screen got hit today by a little ceramic figure falling from a shelving, at first i was like "omg my screen have a little dot/scratch and i can't repair it but then i removed the pre-applied protective film, cleaned the screen...and it was perfect, no scratches at all.
