LOL to vampire that made me chuckle I know your only jokin however if your not then,
There would be a HDMI output port on the Device to hook it to an external HD unit, Similiar to Nvidias' APX2500 |

Yup ... people on esato don't believe in statements whether bold or not, but they certainly believe in utter nonsense when it comes to the fore.
Ciao.
I think you will actually find, people here are especially cynical regards release and delivery dates of new devices due to the high level of Bu*l Sh*t spouted by those who allegedly work at , and those who would simply love to!
As for "utter nonsense" this is after all a forum for people with an interest in Sony Ericsson devices and therefore it is only to be expected that there will be some less than well informed debate surely?
As for me, I only believe in the evidence of my own eyes, the rest is (IMHO) mere speculation but people have the right to their views and opinions but do have an appalling record on release dates and as this device is a "joint effort" with HTC I see no reason why things should be any better with the X1.
I take it you work for ?

Thanks anyway, it's a great preview. They go into a detailed comparison of the TouchPro and X1.
He says also that X1 does not use hardware 3D acceleration (that's not true is it?)
The TouchPro is heavier and more expensive
There will be another Xperia analogous to the Diamond later this year???

A lot of stuff in that preview and several of his previews is a bit off imo.
The X1 does have hardware acceleration, I showed you the link earlier which mentioned that it used ATi hardware acceleration.
In another preview he mentioned that the Omnia buld quality is very average which it is'nt every other review and user I've spoken to says its awesome.
Another forum member who has used both felt the X1 to be superior to the Pro where build quality was concerned although the Pro was well built as well the metal made the X1 feel more sturdy, psychological or not it does feel superior.
The X1 is a premium offering while the Pro is going to be wh**** out to several operators worldwide and should have nasty branding on it, whle the X1 will retain most of its eyecandy etc. as OEM.
Another thing he mentioned that the camera s comparable to the SE offerings, if he means the K800i then thats bull shit. The K800 unit is bigger than the X1 and it has a mechanical shutter which the X1 does'nt. Its morelikely the Touch Pro cam with better post processing considering SE's know how i nthe cam department. Or best possible situation it could be the cam unit from the P1i or the K550i.
The OP seems very pro SE though, not a bad thing, but I still would rely more on gsmarenas review when it does come out. Or I'd more likely wait for more reviews/previews before I get an idea about the X1 |
