Today, i was travelling to my management institution in the morning via train. Two teens were playing off with their nokias. I just created a new contact by the name "Your phone is Hacked" and send it to one of them.
The kid was standing right in front of me and any of the two did not notice me doing all this. When he received the businnes card, he was completely shocked and read it aloud "Your phone Has Being Hacked". Boy, did i enjoy that moment

I have a Sony Ericsson T610 and new to this blue-tooth techonology. I tried this trick in a pack public place by switching on my bluetooth and searching for new devices in a public place and behold i found a few names of handsets appearing! But i noticed that if i want to try to add the other handset it asks for a pass-key it comes up with "bluetooth connection failed" and i know the other user needs this same code in order to pair the devices.
Is there any way of by-passin this feature to able to blue-jack the other person's phone?

Thats because you're trying to pair your phone with theirs..
dont, just create a phonebook contact, highlight it, and choose to send it via bluetooth.

I tried to bluejack Nokias but everytime sure failed.
Anyway, yesterday I was in the immigration dept and did a scan. Found some devices and sent out a contact that says,
What are you doing here?
Turns out he was sitting very near me and saw him looking around and the look on his face was priceless.

LoL! I did something similiar! I was in the bank, waiting and decided to finally try out this blue-jacking. Switched on my bluetooth and created a new contact "MbViRuS recieved. Quarantine? then ask to send it via bluetooth. It found a T610 and i sent it. I saw who the victim was as she took the phone out of her the bag looked at the screen then put her mobile back in the bag. As a laugh i resent it again, she did it again but this time looked around with a puzzled face! I just sat there with a big grin on my face!
Gonna have fun with my new hobby, bluejackin handsets!

Yeah, i found the same problem as well when i tried to bluejack a Nokia 6600, but i did mange to bluejack a Nokia 6310i. Maybe the newer Nokia models have a better potection system on them to prevent people to bluejacking them?

No. Its their operating system.
The new Nokia phones use the Symbian Series 60 which stops messages getting accepted unless the owner of the phone manually accepts the messages.
The 6310i is an old business phone with a simply interface. So simply, it'll go with anything. Its the slut of the bluejacking world.
