If you send files like pictures, or ringtones they always have to say yes.
If you send just phonebook contacts, calendar appointments or tasks, they get accepted without having to say yes...
except for on Nokia phones, Nokia phones all have to say YES.. 
except the 6310i which will go with anything. ( its the slut of the bluejacking phone world )

Our ticket collectors on the trains now have these thermal printing PDA docking things - look very flash, so I set my sman message to 'Tickets Please' and enjoyed as the poor soul was shown mobile phone after mobile phone (mostly 6310i) as he progressed through the carriage. Simple things and simple minds....

@ gottanewphone: Try renaming your phone "Dean of Students" or another appropriate title of an authority at the university. Then send a message like "Please report to my office ASAP". Or name your phone 'Jones' Library and BT a message like "You have 12 overdue books" These work great on 'FISH' (first year students).

I made a contact named "ERASE PHONEBOOK?" and when you send it, it says something like ERASE PHONEBOOK? and YES and NO above the hotkeys. Pure genius. |

today i try to bluejacking by using my k700i but failed several time. I searched for devices and send some text to them. but when come to the connecting it failed!! i want to fing out is there something wrong with my bt so i try did the same thing again to my friend next to me, and then it is successful. So what's wrong? |

@lowcge I used to have that problem with my K700i got the frimware updated and it works alot better now. What firmware are you running. |

i just upgraded to R2L recently but still the same problem occured. maybe my bt only can bluejack SE phone,haha.. |

Its happening because most Nokia phones need the victim to manually accept the message.

I'm a newbee here, but i've got my t68 since 1,5 year
I've managed to bluejack some people in a non-advanced country like mine (most people have Bokias 3310).
The place to bluejack:
1. school
2. train
3. pub
4. party
I've bluejacked n6310's, 7650, and a few handheld computers,
i started bluejacking after i've read this post and i SAY: "it's great!"
BT is the best gadget in the fone even games don't deliver so much fun like bt . I will hunt every brick user down :]

just successful bluejacked a nokia 6230. I went to dinner with gf at pizza hut, sitting not far from us was a bunch of school boys with nokia 6230 and 7610 and there were transferring file at that time.So i know this is the time i can bluejack them then i just send a msg "please change to Sonyericsson!!".After that they were trying to look around who had send this to them and i just pretending nothing happen,haha...it is so fun!!:D

careful with that bluejacking thing. my classmate got her phone o.s erased because of a virus sent via b.t. she was bluejacking someone on the train when she caught the virus. damged her o.s and now trying to get a new firmware to her very damaged 7650.
