edit: i think sofia will have more than QVGA
coz on the review of i-mobile 902 they said (is the fact that I-Mobile’s handset carries a camera module that we are to see in a number of upcoming Sony Ericsson-branded phones in 2007)
and I-Mobile 902 recordes at (Video resolution – 176ơ144, 320ơ240, 640ơ480 )

Maybe the topic should be "How much you like Photoshop". As we see, only one new real photo is here: "Lizy". Can anybody make a new topic where can everybody put his photoshoped picture of his "new SE" ???

Why don't you? Unless you can bring something better to the table then close your cake hole. lol. I don't mind seeing photoshops, they're interesting.

just went into Telstra network shop today. They are the only HSDPA network in aus at the moment...
any way, got talking about phones as i was replacing a sim i asked when are hsdpa phones coming to your network. he replied APRIL.
He said they are expecting two phones, a slider, and the new 5mp k800 (aka sofia)....
i think he meant only the slider was coming in April though (sofia a little later perhaps) , but he didnt say it was April for slider, im just assuming its that way

awesome news! good to see another aussie on the boards here. about HSDPA though, i'm retty sure that vodafone have it switched on, so optus customers in areas covered by vodafone should also have access to HSDPA (due to the vodafone/optus joint network). optus is also updating its 2100 network i believe, while contemplating building a 2100/900 network to cover 96% of australia. 3 are continually upgrading their 2100 network to make it HSDPA compatable.
and about maria, i hope it has at least 8GB of flash memory, if it does, i'm sold.
and about there being enough room for a flash in the lizzy/M600 casing, wasn't someone saying that maria/elena won't have a flash? |

More good news. I've just watched BBC Click and they reported that Orange UK have launched their HSDPA high speed network called 3g+. Now, some good devices is all thats needed.

the workers in phones shops usually have no idea what they are saying, but this guy seemed like he knew what he was talking about...

Yeah, and if SE have done their homework, then they'd be coming out with some new HSDPA phones soon. Just like the other brands are doing.
Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. I Nokia N95 8GB and N82 |

True. It should be standard on everything but the cheapest phone's. Like 3G is now. Also, I'm hoping SE will do something magical with UIQ+Cybershot. It'll be a new breed of imaging devices.

Yeah, I never thought of it that way. Now that you've mentioned it, I hope they do. Just like how the W950 makes use of the big screen for its walkman application. I'd be a waste of valuble screen area if they didn't do somthing unique. Maybe they could borrow some features from the new Sony Cybershot touch screen cameras. |

Isnt that what your PC/Mac is for?
It only looks good with the N93 beacsue its 640 by 480. I seriously doubt Sofia will capture in tat resolution. Even if it is 30fps QVGA its still only 320 by 240. |
