spent the last hour trying 2 access internet with no luck. Tried 2 other sims with same result. I thot I had caught Amby's bug. The interesting thing was that though GPRS was still attached I kept getting a mesase saying login failed. With the other 2 sims GPRS was not even available. But joy, joy, joy all is now well as evidenced by this post. Going 2 have another stab @ accessing the internet with d PC tomorrow.

@TGP: My sister who had been able to browse no longer has GPRS active on her line as well.

At my end, I have been on till now. I am able to browse the net on my 9500 and also on PC.

Issue is, what do we really expect from a service that was never announced and is still being setup and undergoing testing?

@AYA:I'm inclined 2 agree with u. However, I think that noting whatever problems we have on the board can only help the provider i.e. b\c u can be sure they know we are surfing. Feedback is what they expect from beta testers, abi.

My guess is that MTN is randomly deactivating some line from access to gprs in order to reduce the traffic. I'm still experiencing the problem I have, but my blue triangle is still present. Though it comes and goes. I set my pc to redial the mtn at 30sec intervals, and got a connection at the 53rd try. That means my phone, sim and settings are all in order.
Let go and let God

Well, the bug has caught me too. I woke up this morning and while my phone connects, it is not receiving data. Mail, web, WAP, all not browsing

If my source was right, end of freebie.
