Tell me any one experienced the same thing one thing i am not able to use opera mini ar it needs HTTP mode and Airtel online is only working now a days in wap mode previously it worked in both modes in mobile browser nothing opens in HTTP mode but in opera mini sites open but stop at 1kb but i m able to use mig33 or im+ completly in http mode | |

TIME= 4:30 pm my single channel gpr* mb. Trick is start working now
so jst check it again..
@fun2sh dude use http mode 4 0pera min*. and clear ur ph. chache.

Heres opera mini on se phones
prepare
1. Make two data account A1 and A2 with apn of live
2. Chose A1 for both internet/browser and java settings configure proxy and mode to HTTP
3. Chose A2 for steaming settings use proxy
4. Create bookmark in browser with this address rtsp://free.gprs.com
5. Add shortcut to internet browser on shortcut menu
steps
1.Open opera mini from applications n do nothing just open it.
2. Press shortcut button n open internet browser .Dont exit opera just minimize it.
3. Open airtel live homepage on browser
4. Open the bookmark we created earlier
5. You will get an error shortly
6. Again shortcut menu resume opera mini
7. Work on opera mini (open a page/perform a connection test)
note:- get opera mini3 from mini.opera.com for fast secure browsing on live even https

Hey buddies..does this airtel gprs tricks works in MP(bhopal).
does activation for new airtel mobile gprs office service is needed
before applying this trick.
its not working for me,i'm currently paying 10/- daily for this service
can u help me out.

You're right about multitasking not being possible on k700i or k500i but the phones after k750i (including w550i) have a limited form of multi-tasking... Basically any java app can be minimised and the rest of the phone used when said app is in the background. In fact many new se phones support multiple apps being run/minimised simultaniously.
@everyone else:
The basic premise of this whole thing is that the first connection created is blocked but the block moves to the next connection made leaving the first connection free right?
I used to do this on my z550i:
1) Open and minimise Opera mini.
2) Open my phone browser and try to connect with connection 1.
3) Maximise opera mini and use connection 2 to try and connect.
4) Now minimise it again and the default browser (with connection 1) would be usable.
Now my question: why doesn't this work when done the other way around? i.e. doing the opposite doesn't let me work with opera mini on airtel..
*Note: the technique of using a streaming connection posted above does work though. *
Can someone plz explain... |

multitasking of upto 3 apps are possible in newer se models. . @charge dude have you set proxy settings for java applications check it in the settings menu. . . |

above trick work only on se phones with multitasking ..Thanks hacking...I dont have any se with me i bought two from my friends and tested... |
