HOT NEWS....
P990i can be used as a record player needle!
The car in front is absolutely unique apart from the one behind it which is exactly the same. Murray Walker |

What a hack, he definitely does not know how to use a phone, he is smacking the flip back and forth. Clearly abusing the P990.

What worried me was his statement at the end when he said he hoped we the customer would go out and buy these products and let know how they work!! is clearly planning to let people pay for the priviledge of beta testing their products for them just like Microsoft!I think I shall wait untill the revised editions start to come online before I buy a P990, from reading a nother thread on ESATO it seems the early P990 build quality is as bad as ever with buttons sticking etc etc in the first weeks of ownership!

I saw that earlier but dismissed it as soon as I saw them trying to convince you to pay £750, as though it was a bargain, by saying...
"THESE HANDSETS WILL RETAIL AT £800 WHEN RELEASED!"
and also they have a low feedback and since you already know that you can't receive the phone right now they have plenty of time to scam a few people and dissapear before questions are asked.
I'd not recommend anything like this except from the well known ebay sellers

I totaly agree these are almost certainly very early production models phones sourced from the far east (you can get the latest phones in places like Bahrain earlier than in the UK because customers there have to put up with poor performance from Batelco anyway and they dont mind if things dont work well just as long as they have the latest toy to show their mates)
The European networks the watch what problems get shown up in the Far and Middle East and make the required requests for improvements BEFORE they test on their own network then they test the phones and go through the update process again before we get them on sale in their retail units. If you want an over priced buggy import with a dubious warrenty that I will bet / guarentee that the warrenty is not with the ebay seller 26 feedback Hmmm nice!but some outfit in the far east that just so happens not to speak English when you have a problem!
My advice stay well clear you might just as well set fire to your cash.

It seems you can get an attachment from SE France to clamp your P990 to the underside of your toilet, very handy if you are a plumber I guess
