i recently was lisening Mp3 in my K750i (soft R1N035), and it actualy stoped... no sound. tryed next song- playback failed. another- playback failed. another playlist- playback failed. cheked the MSD card, all okey... problem solved when reastarted phone. does everyone experienced this sort of problem? can i call it a "bug"? i faced this priblem for he first time... |

Hi,
I'm kinda new to this forum (and the whole SE scene), so take it easy on me 
I bought my SE k750i Blasted Silver secondhand (Voda simlocked), and when i tried to update the firmware to a newer version, it got an error saying it couldn't upgrade. Now i presume it's operator restricted.
Here are my stats that i found on Software Info:

When vodaphone release their customized R1N035 SE will let you have it untill then you might wanna try davinci as that can remove customization etc.

Btw, i keep hearing about this 'video bitrate downfall' in the earlier firmware versions. But isn't it possible to tweak up to the opposite place (so to the higher bitrate/res)? I mean, the writing speed of the memstick is fine, but i dunno if the processor will hold it. Any1 some idea about that?

I consider Gmail as another way of spying on people (abit like spyware i suppose) why any joe doe would promote this is beyond me but u go ahead and get yourself a gmail account. who knows if u are squeeky clean then uve got nothing to worry about i suppose... if you dont mind your emails not being private then fine, otherwise check out http://gmail-is-too-creepy.com/ dont just jump on the bandwagon!

I had exactly the same problem this evening. Tried recovery mode 6 or 7 times and it kept doing what you described. However, the following worked for me...
When you get the "Found new device! Unknown device! USB Device Not Recognized!" double click on the unknown device, and a window pops up. Select the driver tab at the top of this window and select uninstall driver. Restart windows and go to SEUS and start recovery mode. It then worked for me, thank god! |

I just received my exchange for my k750i because of some freezing problems. I was too scared to update through SEUS, but when I received my new phone, the FW was R1N. Is Sony shipping the K750's w/ the new firmware? I know it's a new one, because it has a different imei number from my old one. Hopefully this one does not have the bugs that have been mentioned. |

From what I've read on this forum, a Master Reset has not solved the problem for many users.
Secondly, what is meant by "perform a full backup?"
It is not possible to backup phone settings, and many games are copy-protected with DMR. |

2. My friend has k750i /vadafone/ unbranded and unlocked. Can i update it using SEUS. and after update will menu icon change? /Because he don't like vadofone icons/
