My driver is on the way now with a T39 that got soaked in water. Hope you can bring it back to life. |

Had my T610 firmware upgraded last Tuesday afternoon and they were very very nice! Even went back after about an hour to have the camera rechecked again and they were super dooper nice. Keep up the great work!

Disregard my previous message. Called in advance but was told that the results wouldn't be out until Monday. Anyway, it's DOA (dead on arrival) at another service center. |

Last week, a representative from smartnet called up to inquire about the details of the incident I posted here a few weeks ago (which actually happened some months back.) Gilbert Mariano, a supervisor at smartnet, explained the changes they've began implementing new procedures that would address the issues I've raised here and communicated the concerns of smartnet's management about the other negative experiences that other posters shared in this thread. He let me know that they're willing to listen customers, and should I have any other problems in the future, not hesitate to communicate it to him.
A lot of Pinoy ESATO users have been very, very happy (me included, prior to the incident) about smartnet's customer service and general performance. Well, yesterday I got surprised when we (with vwbeetle) dropped by at their office to meet up with 619 (who's offering his "recto" phones around - bumili pa nga si vwbeetle e ).
We met and made small talk with some smartnet staff and Gilbert came around to discuss the incidents posted by users. He asked about my phone, and asked to see the problem I reported. I showed it to him, and he offered to replace the fascia. Of course, he is not acknowledging that it is their fault - nor I am saying that it was mine. I'm still standing by my original post.
Have I found it satisfactory? The replacement is an unexpected and belated deed, but I'm happy that they've acted upon my compaints and made the necessary changes in their procedures to prevent it from happening again.
I am posting this, not upon their insistence or request, but on my own bidding so others may know how it turned out.

@619
i wouldn't call myself lucky. and this is not just a matter of a lack of communication - i immediately went back to their shop as soon as as i saw the problem. the reason was due to bad procedures then.

i'm thinking of dropping by Smartnet to upgrade my T610 shortly. Are there a lot of customers? How long will it take to upgrade the phone? Please advice. Thanks in advance.
And will the upgrade erase my phonebook, MMS, GPRS Settings and etc.? I can't seem to find a software to backup those items.
