most likely dates, if they do fix the p990 by then -_-
w950 is scheduled for Oct release
some retailers will get them days before them but I doubt more than a week let alone month so it's probably gonna be mid Aug when we see the p990 appearing, again this is if they fix the bugs in it, I heard they were having hardware issues.

I'd be able to get the P990 on the 4th of august, i'm located in France, if anybody out here too impatient, i can help you with that 
Min price will be 700€, & won't normally go above 800€, with the exception of a deadstock case or an urgent need...

When is this phone coming out for god-sake?! I have just heard that N93 is being shipped NOW! Yeah I know that the N93 and P990 are not direct competitors because of a few differences, but non the less this news will not help our patience. TBH for me the P990 is the one I want but I also know that the N93 will also satisfy my requirements too. Am I alone in this position? and is the P990 really worth the extra wait? |

The P990 will not be available in the US from any service provider. You will have to buy it through internet retailers.

Just felt it is my obligation to say: "It will not be available from any service provider EVER, EVER, EVER!!!" Most US service providers still don't even have the P800 - LOL!
On the bright side, it you go with a provider such as T-Mobile, they will have Tier 2 or Tier 3 support for the phone. My experience was that if you skipped the first tech support person and went to 2nd or 3rd, you could get support files, settings, pretty much everything you want for advanced phones.

Well according to expansys here in the uk, they are hoping to get some units by 7th august, roughly about 2 weeks away.
Only time will tell if it will be released then... |

could someone with a p990 (even a prototype) check to see if TomTom mobile 5 installs ok?
If you have a P990 but don't have TomTom then let me know and I'll PM you a link to the "trial" version.
i know 6 is due soon, but if my 990 turns up in a month itll be a pig if tomtom doesnt work.. |
