Well I'm back from the Ericsson tech service here in Buenos Aires, I went for the firmware upgrade of my t68i.
You know what ? They still have brand new t68 (yes, you heard right, Ericsson t68, not Sony Ericsson t68i !) to sell. 200 dollars each...
Anyone interested ?

If it's gold, then it would maybe be worth allot. But 200 dollars for a normal T68m is to expensive.... even for the gold version

@ Boba - They are new in box, so I suppose they must have the original firmware. It must be some old ones that were for european clients when GSm almost didn't exist here.
The box says "Wireless phone" and on the picture, the t68 is branded "AT&T" above the keypad.

a golden T68m voor 200$ man i would buy them all.
it seems alot of money for some people, you could get a K500 for that amount of money. but for a collector or somebody how loves the T68 is worth the money.

Yeah, but i didnīt like the AT&T part.. means more money for an un-marked front
But still.. it IS new and that is worth a lot.
I was so lucky to find my gold T68m brand new boxed last year for 110

@num 6 if i were i, i would go for one, but before u "go" for it, check the fw if possible. the problem is with old fw, that the battery standby time is going crazy. i got r2d on mine _ old m fw - but sometimes if 2 bars left in the batt icon, i have to charge it, cos batt is almost empty.

No Boba I don't have 200 dollars to spend on a mobile phone ! Even if it's an original Ericsson t68...

Well, just got my little collection of old Ericssons off Ebay!
I got: 4 x GH688s, 1xS868, 1xGA628, 1xa2618s, 1x2628s (I think, though in a 2628s box it looks identical to the 2618s), and 1xT18s. Plus an old NEC DB2000 as new, and some absolutely ancient Alcatel 'Airtel' which is huge!
Sadly though, there only seems to be one working battery between all the phones - all the GH688s and the S868 all work and power up with the working battery, no joy so far with the T18, 2618s or 2628s (or the NEC or Alcatel as I have no chargers), so I'm after any spare Ericsson batteries anyone may have for these models, or an NEC or Alcatel charger.
I have some bits and bobs to swap in this thread if anyones interested, or a bit of cash

beautyful. just beautyful thats all i can say when i look at that picture.
however after some serius thinking i have decided to sell my collection and to minimize my activity on surrounding mobile phones(except esato and keeping usep alive).
if you see anything that you would like to buy from my collection pm me.
my collection can be viewed on my website "about us"
