Anyone feel that new R1GB make k800 less sensitive to 3g signal? I used to be able to get a signal in my house and now I don't have it. I have tried in few places that used to get 3g signal in 500m radius of my house and it also can't pick the signal. Anyone confirm this?
However seems that it take 2g signal better than old firmware though.

Can I downgrade firmware to R1ED001, because new firmware R1GB001 change CID to 51?
If I use Davinci do to this, can I blow something?

I could be wrong but I don't think you can downgrade CID. Please tell me if it is possible!

Hi everyone, this is my first post eventhough i am following up closely with esato forum. esato forum was very usefull to me for a long time, I hope that i can help others as well.
I've just updated my K800 from R1CF001 to R1GB001 using SEUS. Everything went fine. I just would like to know the effect on the functionality of the phone with my EROM still R3A011.
As i said, it makes no difference to me as everything seems to be working fine.

This R1GB is slow sometimes,I got my menu freezed for 30 sec too while opening the video folder,no new games and the ones I already installed cant start ''not enough memory in you memory stick'' while I have 50mb free, the only good news for me is that I can finally save pics under the SE browser in colors instead of the brown and white I got on the old FW,videos now can be previewed in thumbnails

just swapped in the 3G sim and I get signal - 1 to 2 bar as opposed to 4 to 5
bars for 2G.

Not sure if you can downgrade the EROM - that's what SEUS appears to
change to CID51.
I reject your reality and substitute my own.

So, what's this EROM CID 51 all about? Does it make a difference with EROM R3A011 CID 49, EROM R3A016 CID 49, EROM R3A011 CID 51 and EROM R3A016 CID 51? From what I read here, my R1GB is EROM R3A011 CID 51. Is mine now 'equal' to R3A016 meaning that the bug of WSOD is all gone? Or is it still 'potentially buggy' EROM but with 'more secure' firewall which is modding-free? Enlighten me. What I know simply my phone with R1GB001 rocks! I have no
problems with Video thumbnail as I don't save movie files there. My 10-15 secs MP4 clips work OK..lucky me then.

Well just try not to leave the batt to low and I think you will be fine. There is no need to worry to much about it as by now your EROM is CID51 and there is nothing you can do about it unless you ask authorised service centre to update it for you. Wopo confirm that newest kulan client can't update CID51 firmware. I think SE may be able to lessen the effect of the flaw in EROM with newer firmware so as long as you are not doing something extreme (like taking out the batt without turning off the phone) then it should be OK.

Well I think CID is just protection. So R3A011 is the same whichever CID you have. I could be wrong though.
