When I was there last time what hit me was the price and portion size of the food. I'm actually quite slim so can't eat huge portions of food but very nice anyway.

The last time I went we stayed in Manhattan but this time I think we're going to rent an apartment in Brooklyn, which should work out cheaper.

Berlin looks great, one place I'd like to visit. I've not been to Germany yet.

Do they really serve out huge pro-portions over there?
I know the Yanks have all these strange wacky meals like Chilli Dawgs, Chilli Cheese frys and stuff, Corn dogs I really don't know what these are but sounds like you could give a try and let us know

Im slim too but I don't go over indulging in junk did you see that Jamie oliver Great American thing yet?

btw I wanna go to America I need a holiday I think after all the
stress ive been put under last fews weeks having my hours cut etc

the other half has relatives in L.A. maybe another place we could visit

if you get a chance you must go to Germany its a very nice city,
beware of the taxi cabies though "No Much English speaking" lol

The american motto is bigger is better. Especially in Texas.
You could get a prepaid SIM at ATT or Tmob here if you have an unlocked phone.

McDonalds also got rid of the King Size here. It is small, medium or large now again. How it should be. Nobody needs to supersize themselves anyway. I have not been to a fast food burger place for years. How about you?

That is a good approach. Similar here. No coffee during the week, but plenty on the weekends. Eat healthy during the week and don't worry about it on the weekend.
Cyclocross season started here. Do they do it in England?

Yes they go all out here. People dress up like fools and beg for candy.
On the bright side the Cyclocross racing this weekend requires you race in costume. That will be fun to watch.
