Actually taking enough bike trips currently. Summer is giving it a finale here. 22C and sunny during the day.

When I get there I'll be swapping the sim card in my phone for a US payg one. Any advice on the best value US payg sim to get anyone?

I haven't a clue isn't t-Mobile anygood over there? 
theres AT&T and verizon but dunno tbh 
don't forget to get a Plug convertor so you can charge your phone though Golden
they have different sockets to use over there also you might wanna check if its safe to charge
your phone im sure there Electric runs on different watts over there to :?

Nah, I'll be alright. I just don't want end up dialing home and running up a huge bill. There is three of us going over so I'm just boxing clever and will put payg sims in our phones.
I've been before and it was boss. We might visit Philadelphia and Washington DC too. Last time I went we had a ball! I was sort of hoping there might be some New Yorkers here that might give me some good advice, but it seems they're a bit shy. Prrrrrrrp!

Im after a iPod touch 4G and prices in the usa are so brill, have a look at BestBuy when your over there

Well I've just had a big refund off the tax man so I'll be spending lots over there.
I was after a pair of CAT boots and someone in my work told me to wait till I get over there to do my shopping and lo and behold, the shoes I was after, that cost £120 over here, cost just £70 over there so I'm gonna be going on a proper shopping spree when I get over there.

can't believe how cheaper it is over there compared to here, bloody VAT!
im still awaiting for the Tax prats to get intouch with me they have been taking too much of my money of me cos my work couldn't be arsed to sort out my tax code im still on BR too atm!
but my hours are now cut down to just 6 so im gunna get sumat else and juggle 2 jobs together!

Good luck! I read it's all to do with people having multiple jobs last year so you're bound to get something.
Yes, I'll be shopping over there. Luckily, it's not going to be too cold so it should be a lot of fun. I'll be just missing the pre festive season sales but never mind, I'm sure I'll come home with a few bargains.

lots of Xmas stuff coming up to and i have been advised to try a Certain Store again for which I did training in,
as long as i get sumat else fast thats the main thing
hey mema and check out how much you can bring back with ya from the states otherwise you will be paying fees :s

The £ isn't very strong right now, about $1.60 to the £1? About what it has historically been? But the clothing is definitely cheaper over there so I'll certainly shop around. Can't wait Kerry. One of my best experiences of my life going there the last time, highly recommended.

Oh and another thing is cheap is the Food
try and keep away from all that fast food junk if you can though or
you will find yerself a tad heavier on yer comeback
I will have to hurry up and find a second job get things paid of and talk hols i think..
I wanna go back to germany again too Berlin is such a wonderful city,
