@JoolsG4 - Yeah they told me that it would cost £60 to upgrade.

But their also trying to con me into upgrading my tariff since it was once upon a time a sim only tariff... but I've had two handsets out of them after altering my monthly fee 2years ago - so I'm not gonna get sucked into that game! I'll politely negotiate when home from work this evening that they'd like me to pay them rather than a competitor methinks...

I have just managed an upgrade for my other contract (the wifes phone). The contract still had 6 weeks to run and is on the online 100 tarrif. I called the cancellations department and said I was wanting a K750i aand didn't want to wait for 6 weeks but was willing to take my number to orange.

He put me on hold and said I can get a free upgrade now if I pay for 2 of the 6 weeks rental to take me into the 11th month of my contract.

So for £12 I now have on order a free K750i on the Online 100 tarrif.

Another happy O2 customer.

PS. I would never have gone to Orange anyway as the rest of the family is on O2.

Just got mine on Orange from the orange shop in covent garden.
Quite a lot of branding (mostly the menu icons). Any questions just ask!

I went to the DHL EXPRESS web site (the delivery service that 02 uses) and put in the tracking code that I got in the O2 email. I got the following:

Ident Code
0********

Current Status
Parcel Picked Up

Date
25/05/05

Time
14:02 O2

Signatory
-

Branch
CUSTOMER LOCATION

Seems good so far...hopefully Ill get it in the next few days... If I were you guys and are having problems, I'd phone up o2 tomorrow and get them to make sure its ordered and that they have some in stock...

Aye, will tomorrow. Though bet it'll be out of stock.

In which case i may colour print the front of a K750i and stick it to my current stop gap Nokia 3320. Grrrrrrrrrrreat.

For those that were asking and are yet to see it, here's the full extent of the O2 branding on an O2 supplied K750i:

Left: Unhighlighted icon Middle: Highlighted icon Right: Unbranded menu

Pretty subtle and very similar to unbranded handset.

The right image is from a K700. The only icon different on K750-O2 compaired to K750-normal is the top-left icon. [addsig]
