Like SolidSingh said its like having a set of speakers (Bose) attached to your head, Noise cancellation is really amazing and I have nearly been bumped a few times to be honest.
They take a custom ear mould of your ear so the fit is perfect and you cant go wrong..these are used by musicians and artist when on stage...sadly I use mine on the tube..

Well, its been fun, but I'm sorry to say I have to put you all to shame... Heres a scan of the reciept of my first P.C. - Take a look at the spec. on this baby...
And as if that wasn't enough - you can upgrade!
That's right.. 4MB RAM only £100!!!!
Bet you all feel rather foolish with your PSP's and your iPods...

1995 was a good year. In fact my current email address comes from that year and I have been using it ever since.
as interesting as that PC spec is, my first PC was a 286 with 1mb memory and 20mb "stepper" hard drive in 1989 and though I don't have a printed receipt any more it was not so much different from that price
mind you before that I had all sorts of Commdore PET (pretty much the original PC) and Tandy TRS-80
still, seeing such an invoice is definitly very interesting and quite nostalgic
