Yes there is 50% reduction is calling rates only from telenor to telenor.it was advertised in today's Jang. But this reduction is for a limited time. Further telenor will cover new 80 cities in the 3rd quarter.i dont have any problem with telenor except that its tariffs are high compared to warid and that international Sms cant be received todate! K750 is slightly more advanced than K700,its cam is excellent otherwise there is not much difference between K700 and K750. This is what i feel like.

No on net SMS at half rates and no on net calls at half rates.
UFONE and WARID and better than this.
If u wanna get every thing at low rates Then I recommend UFONE which is offering calls at 2.99 and SMS same rates as WARID. International SMS 1.5 (Kabhi kabhi zaroorat parh jati hay lekin hum is liay nahin kartay kay Rs. 5 ki huti hay) ,Thier services are also becoming very good nowadays.

I fully agree with bilal's comments! Telenor is not working with the pace that Warid is working with. Plus i personally hate such limited time offers when others r offering on regular basis.and also its not possible to receive sms from out side Pakistan which is a shame

There is marked difference in screen quality. Pics looks more sharp and clear in K750's screen. What i meant earlier was,there is not much of difference in user interface of K700&K750 like which was very visible when K700 was launched after T630. I was using T630 before i switched over to K700 and it really felt like one step up. This same feeling is not there when i started using K750 after K700. I hope u now understand what i mean!

You are welcome! I bought my K750i in the second week of June, the reason i am posting through WAP is, my internet hours have finished, lolz.
I have my reservations about 3230, the main problem with it being its too slow especially its cam is useless. By the time you take the actual shot, the object has changed its position, but its symbian like 6600. Another better option could be N6630 which will cost you Rs 21,800 (N3230 is for Rs 20,000). If i were to buy, i would have selected either K750i or N6630!
You should keep yourself under check (yours calls after 10!) so that you can save enough to buy a N8800, just kidding:), if there is anything else i can help you with, just let me know. |

@SE7. 6630's main feature is i think 3G which is not supported this time in pakistan by any cellular company. Its shape to me is very non impressive. 3230 camera is 1.3 mega pixl so i thought it will be much better than 6600. But is it more slow than 6600. I mean the set and its camera both more slow than 6600 or same as 6600 or better than 6600 in speed and every thing. Regards. Umer

I m sorry i cant compare 6600 and 6630 as i have not used both these sets myself. I recommended u 6630 coz it is very highly rated in all reviews. Its also 1.3MP i think but i am not sure. If symbian is not a requirement then also consider samsung D500. 3230 is infamous for its very slow user interface and camera.also its cam results is pathetic. Or consider SE K750 its also a very good choice if u r not switching over from K700! V3 razor (262K screen, resolution i dont remember exactly) is cool looks wise especially its black edition. Consider 6230i as well as its screen resolution is very high (208*208 pixels) but its 65K.
The cam rating is as follows:
1. K750
2. S700
3. N6630
S700 is good as well:) for about Rs 22,000 with excellent big screen and gr8 camera.

I am the proud owner of every pre-paid gsm service launched in pakistan!!
Recently i switched to warid, after a lot of my pals did so, as the warid-to-warid charges were really attractive, esp 30secs billing.
However i am having one major problem: My warid-to-warid sms charge is 6.33 rupees! that is about a 100 times more than what it should be. I have shown this to the warid customer support at islamabad. They look really shocked, enter a complaint and then... nothing. Warid's customer support really sucks! its impossible to get through to the help line (321).
I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem |

@SE7. Ok thanks man. I will finally decide after one month but info is very useful. @alitayyab. Yes customer support is almost non reachable but other problem i never heard or face my self. I think you might be the single special case facing it. Did any of your pal also faced it some time. I think answer will be no. Any how hope they fix their buggy service soon. People not want only cheap call rates. People need the quality of the service also. I also have all prepaid connections and i my self find that ufone is the best well balanced company when we compare overall performance. Regards. Umer

I friend of mine also encountered this problem of non-access to the helpline 321, but we found a way out of it, that it to call 111-111-321 from a PTCL # and u will definitely get through the cutomers services representative. By the way, the guy told me that their helpline centre is being up-graded which will take around two weeks that is why it is difficult to access the helpline through mobile!

i use to have a ufone connection, but gave up on it, cuz
it's wap related service didnt allow me to access certain pages, including samsung's wap site.
Also they charge on balance inquiry which isnt fair at all.
I really hope warid people sort out my problem otherwise i will go back to mobilink or telenor.
