Ok I hope these pics help, I put my 3g Ipod so to also give you an idea of thickness p.s thats the 10Gb version. Ok enjoy...yes I know the pic quality is bad but thats because I used my p800 couldnt find my digital camera.
Ok thats thats the lot, I would have put it next to the kitchen sink but I didnt think that would help. ENJOY

jeez! it's bloody huge! (the z1010 that is). I knew it was big, but from all the videos and pics I've seen i didn't think it was THAT big. The thing is double the length of a t610 when it's open... and to me that is massive! I know that once you have a phone into your hand it tends to feel smaller, but i think i'll just wait and see...
Personally I'm keen on news of the Motorola E1000. That looks pretty sweet in my opinion.

Yeah its quite reasonable, if you have felt the NEW NEC E616 then its exactly the same size (close enough). Its just the the NEC is a bit curvy but the power in the Z1010 wipes it clean off the floor. |

Wonder how the Z1010 will hold up against the E1000? Its nice to know a 1MP cameraphone is coming to 3G. Any news on its release?

i've not heard anything on the E1000. Doesn't seem to be much info floating around about when it's going ot be released. Any insiders here with a bit of knowledge? Personally, I reckon I might wait for the E1000. The specs look really nice, the form factor is really nice, it just depends on when it comes out and how it actually feels once you've got it in your hands!

It looks like the phone has been delayed in the uk yet again, the carphone warehouse has an expected release date of July 2004. oh well, i'll just have to get a K700 instead! |

@roch It was R's Electric in North London, If I am not mistaken it's near Spurs Stadium. And yes they will put it on for you. I believe Sonicen has some blue cases... if you cant get to the service center. |

@ALL - Doesn't anyone in the UK browsing these forums know someone at 3 or SE who might be able to give us a more definitive answer as to release date. SE eShop were saying June/July and are now not sure if they will be carrying it, I got a yes answer yesterday for June/July so who knows? CPW have moved the release date from May to July, and frankly from experience I can't remember seeing a phone come earlier than they predict immediately prior to release. 3 UK are a bunch of prats, they won't tell their customers or potential customers what to expect when. Amazingly in Scandanavia, 3 give you about 2 weeks notice.
So come on 3 and SE employees, give us some answers, amnesty against prosecution asured |

@sunnychad Please remember that I dint charge my battery for 16 Hours when I got it. So it might be suffering from memory loss. I made quite a few video calls and normal calls and few texts. Fully charged it the night before and now the battery is completley dried out. So for me its riding on 1 day.
One thing I did notice is how HOTTTTTT the phone gets, I remember having this problem with another SE phone but cant remember which one. This time you can feel a tad bit of heat from the front and back of the phone,
I am sure 3 will release it soon,but I think the online content is where the problem is coming. I am guessing they do not want a repeat of the 7600 Nokia. I am still unable to stream any video from the website so I guess once thats sorted it might be released. |
