I would not take this bad publicity posts too serious...
5 weeks ago after the Sony Z1C came to the shops there was a video on youtube by a guy that had the phone for only the weekend,he showed in the video how badly the phone was scratched on the back side ..
I have the Z1C 5 weeks now ... and I do not see even one scratch on it! .... also the flash bleeding does not exist on my white Z1C ...
Bad publicity can come from various sources for different reasons...
my unscratched Z1C this morning

Low light looks better on Z2 with much less of those artifacts. You could still see it at full 20.7 MP if you pixel peep, but it's much less than what Z1 produces even in strong light. Only problem I see with Z2 is the focus.

They seem to be out focus a bit, rather than NOISIER... instead the noise seems less... there almost no white sparkles in the Z2, whereas the Z1 have a lot of post processing artifacts even in daylight...
Still I think the Z1 can shots great photos

Agree, specially on that rose close shot, it's clearly shows that the focus was on the far leaves rather than the center like the Z1 pic... while the Z1 pic has the focus in the closer part of the center, as you can see the far side of the center blurs the further you go...
