iPhoneArena didn't even test the battery life of the phone. As usual they recommend the iPhone 5 at the end.
The first review said amazing screen iPhoneArena says terrible screen.

Well Dacha, it makes me wonder if these guys are really credible enough to be publishing reviews. First they are so ignorant that they write the Xperia T features Sony Exmor RS sensor

Secondly they sing the same old tune of poor viewing angles when we have seen proof that the T has better viewing angles than the Galaxy Nexus SAMOLED !!!

another review. It looks like its getting somewhere between negative to average reviews. Engadget also mentions about the battery life being a problem.

@randomuser,

I watched the phonearena review just 15 minutes after it was uploaded to youtube. They had corrected to exmor R by then.

That is why they are trying to hire writers.
Who ever did the review does not have a clue.
Sample 1 "A great feature are the so-called Small Apps in this ICS Timescape edition"
Sample 2 " "Timescape’s on-screen keyboard is very good"

Timescape is Sony`s Facebook integration app.

Comeon that's nitpicking . timescape ui was heavily advertised by sony ericsson for its x10. This new nameless ui is quite similar. Its not that wrong to call it.

Oh well, I compared the GSMArena camera samples of the T with S and much to my disappointment it seems like nothing has changed from the S to the T. They are virtually the same quality.

So Xperia T/S is stuck as being "on par" with other flagships and not "ahead of the pack".

Sony really needs to bring more innovation to the camera side and offer camera performance much ahead of any of their competitors.

I totally agree. Maybe next year when they start using the Exmor RS thing will get better. The T is still a phone.

Its really annoying that at one point I would swear by 's battery life, but now, its just not convincing me.

I really want to get this or V, but I will have to wait it out to see what happens. Not a day 1 buy for me anymore :@

So far my main gripes according to reviews

1> Battery life
2>Browser performance is not so good as compared to sgs3
3> Phone dialer still launches slow. I am a bit picky on this, maybe because I am spoiled thanks to htc. But neither sgs3, nor xperia T launch the dialer fast. This is really important to me because, well its a phone first!

I know 2 and 3 could be fixed by updates, but not much for the batt .

True guys, overall the T doesn't seem to be as good as we would have expected. Here's hoping the V doesn't disappoint. If the V turns out to be another "on par" device then I guess we just gotta wait till 2013 for the real Sony phones.

Another thing that I'm quite worried about is the call quality on the T. So far two out of three reviews mention that the call quality is nothing special. That's really a let down considering the Xperia S has one of the best call quality of any current smartphone or even all time for that matter.

Btw I'm sure a few of you would be glad now if you decided to hold until 2013 and not buy the T/TX.

The Xperia S most definitely does not have the best call quality. It may be clear but the in-ear volume is far too low. It is much better on other Xperia phones such as the Xperia P and Xperia go.

More certain proof of which on of photographic quality the sony phones are very weak !!!

Day or night... Noise, chromatic aberration and low detail ever !!!

P.S: By the way C901 And C905 will continue to the "Best SONYs" when it comes to photography !

Reviews say that Xperia T is just not ahead of the competition but not behind either.
I takes time to be in front, but still looks like T is good.
I don't see a problem here.

@Guarulhos
Mate before you post - just learn how to make a photo.
It's not easy to make a good night shot. But with a steady position
Xperias make great night shots.
I did many.

Its like tech sites don't wana risk saying something negative about iphone(apple).
Also I think the news that the 2012 xperias did so well in benchmarks was brushed under the carpet quite quick! Not enough credit was given to Sony.
