3.5 inches is way too small for a smartphone, especially for typing.
Maybe 3.5 inches plus physical keys yes but not as a touchscreen!
My Neo V is 3.7 inches and I find that small though its great for viewing movies at 16:9 (the correct ratio compared to 3.5 being only 4:3)
My spare handset is an Xperia X10i and that is 4 inches, and I find that perfect for typing!! Im just waiting on a rooted version of ICS for it!!!
its probaly to small for gents with big sausage fingers
3.5 is big enough for me btw
I have had a 4inch Android phone my X10i and HTC Sensation
both were good handsets but I think the iPhone is more my thing,
android phones seem to sound like tin cans btw for Music playback whereas
the iPhone has better sound quality without headphones!
Who's got big sausage fingers??? mine are longish but "normal" ,I just prefer larger screened phones, the 4.3" on My GS2 is amazing for media, texting and reading ebooks/mid size documents.
The Galaxy phones come with powerful speakers, but i do get what you mean, the X10 for example had one seriously weak loudspeaker.
I guess all guys have Sausage like fingers who cannot use a iPhone
Android phones are capable of all of which a iPhone can do I agree
but being a madcase music fan then the iPhone delivers better sound quality
then the Para-noid Phones ive previously owned
Appart from seeing demo units of SII and getting a glance at SI
I don't know how they sounded but in theory the SI has been the far best Galaxy unit
Samsung have come up with cos I don't like the designs of II and III
If I mis-placed my iPhone tomorrow and was given a Samsung Galaxy phone it would be straight on eBay
buying me another 4S with the seal intact

I found iPods a touch tinny compared to many Samsung or Sony phones. My Xperia U has amazingly solid sound. IPhone having better sound is a matter of opinion and taste. Not a matter of fact I have big fingers yet have used Xperia Mini phones with ease.

The iPod touch is a little tinny on and of of headphones but once you have spent cash on
upgrading headphones that device sounds really lovely it can give you some sort of Eargasm trust me
perhaps the thinner the device gets make it sound Tinny?
even my 3D LED TV is the same
the iPhone has abit of meat on it so the meat gives it good sound maybe?

No it's nothing to do with how thin the device is. What drives the sound is the chips and software inside. As for a tv well most thin tv sets have average sound.

@ Bonovox
I agree the thinner the unit you go the less more powerful the unit will be.
@ MissUK
Yeah i dont really have sausage fingers actually have 'piano' fingers lol i can play the piano so mind the pun.
I have tried all phones for music, yes the iphone is great from its stock, but Android has awesome third party apps that can easily beat the iphones music player. Cloudskipper I think in my mind the best music app for Android. It does have a few drawbacks being it doesnt change in landscape mode but the devs are working on that and the fact it has lockscreen, eq, effects, playlists from itunes, Sony Ericsson sense eTC and its totally free too!!
As for cans (headphones) yes I have to admit the headphones that came with my Neo V were woeful and I still use my old pair from my w810i!! (without the annoying SE adapter), and the worst ones and for paying a high price is the Apple headphones. Why mass produce an expensive 'so called' high end product with cheap headphones? It doesnt help that people think its ok to blast their music on their annoying open back headphones when they should have in ear or proper noise cancelling headphones.
Roll on that rooted ICS for the x10!! |

@ Mr Piano Fingers (PUN taken)
Some Androids do possess good players easy to use stick a few apps on
there so u feel the bonus etc
btw its not that I didn't use my HTC Sensation when I had that for music I did a little,
but as for battery it sucked and I never used it as a fulltime player so gladly
along came iPhone and polly was happy
I cannot fault the phone in anyway except for Apple doesn't support Flash Player wherea's
Android does right?
Ps, Generally LCD TV's sound Great but its actually those newer ones LED smart / 3D they sound very
tin can like unless you aim to go for a BLU RAY Home Theatre Kit (hoping santa brings me one)

I shall indeed. So far not heard any groans from anyone regarding problems. Always a good early adopters sign

And remember don't give up on a phone so quickly.I liked Samsungs TouchWiz,spent quite a while on it and then I needed a change.Tsepz stayed with Touchwizz for ages as well before he jumped into installing the SlimICS rom.
I've been through 3 custom roms (Resurrection Remix,Cyanogenmod 9 and Slim ICS) before deciding that my search was over and 'the one' had been found.
MIUI..Very happy with it and by finding it my S2 has a longer staying power.Maybe even the full 2 year contract.
Experiment and use that S3 to its max before discarding it.Its a killer phone.
Have fun.
