Why are you guys excited about the PSP Phone? Hardware sliding solution so thick?
1. I hate to admit it but: sales of PSP games have dropped; mostly due to iPod Touch/IP4/IP3GS sales and app sales.
2. games are becoming lack luster and limited in features due to hardware restrictions.
This device, honestly in current leaked hardware design, should've been released in 2007 not 2011.

The biggest problem is that the PSP2 will come in 2011 as well, shops like Carphonewarehouse will be offering PSP2 with their mobiles on contract so you can imagine whats going to happen to this device. if anything games are becoming more advanced and technical, mobile gaming will be huge in the years to come. A mobile phone device with dedicated physical gaming controls is a godsend to mobile gamers, but yes i agree the PSPhone has to handle games pretty darn well to actually have a chance but...
let see what happen.

PSP was the king of handheld gaming console.
Long time back when n-gage came out, everybody expected PSP phone to come out too. But after years it's coming out so there is much excitement. Personally I don't think PSP owns the best handheld gaming console title anymore. As everybody knows even phones these days have amazing 3D games out there, be it android or iOS.
PSP phone may have 100 negative points but it's the most awaiting phone that everybody has been waiting from past many years.

when I run without sound I get 27.4
with sound 27.1
it doesn't really make any difference on my device. Im betting the others would be the same? |

On my X10, 2.1 (rooted if it makes a difference), Neocore 1.9.22:
27.4fps with audio
28.0fps without audio
I ran it twice in both, the first result without audio gave me 26fps  I assume it's because I was getting an email in the middle of it and it screwed it up. With audio was the same both times.

ohhh there is not much of a difference without audio..
ANZU had 63fps pretty good .
But i dont understand this even ANZU was prototype and PSPhone too But ANZU FPS was maxed out..
And both have MSM7230 suggested by the rumors how come there is so much difference??
ANZU was running 2.1 where as PSPhone 2.3p [recent leaks suggest that]
And PSPhone is for gaming doesnt tht phone should have a better graphic??

What should I do with the high resolution if the graphic performance is horrible like that ??
To me , Anzu is a psp phone more than the psp phone itself ..
But really , MSM7230 can't reach 63 FPS .. Maybe dual core ?  |

until we see the PSPhone playing an actual game made for the phone and seeing how that runs, i think its premature to criticise its graphic performance. |
