It's still not out in the UK, I am now thinking next month? Probably just as well as I've got to MOT and tax the car this month! |

Hey! This is my first post! I've noticed that the UK release date has gone back from the 9th June to the 27th on Play.com for the G900, which is a bit annoying. Especially seeing as I got an e-mail from Sony Ericsson to say it was out about a week ago.

I think you made it really clear...right now there isnīt any SE feature phone that justifies itself to be bought instead of G900/G700...IMO...
true, but that excludes the price factor.
Let's also mention the lagging (however short it is on the G900, it's not instantaneous as on feature phones), which can irritate some "basic" users and let make them turn to a feature phone instead.
When apps are in RAM, its instantaneous. And newbies will be precisely the ones that let everything running on background (uiq3 apps normaly cant be ended except from task manager or similar). In fact, all about symbian guys said g900 speed is comparable with SE feature phones, so...

well until we know the FINAL full spec list of Paris, then how can you 'seriously' say 'no wayyyyyyyy' it cant compete?
X1 cannot be comapred to n96, they are aimed at different markets.

I would compare the X1 to the N96, there both business and personal use phones and IMO the X1 is way better. As for the G900 compared to the N96, well the probable Ģ200 at least price difference should prove how far apart these devices are let alone the specs and markets they are aimed at. |

the n96 is more a multimedia device than a business phone, and will be comapred with 'paris'
any way. back on topic....

even though sales wise...SE is getting destroyed.
