C702 pics are ok, but i would expect it to be better than my k800i not worse and not have a small focal length, i would rather not down-grade my camera by buying a c702. |

does anybody know if the face detection of c902 will be able to detect only one face? or it can focus multiple faces (eg. when in group shots)?

I've seen the same face detection feature demonstrated on the SE SO905iCS site.
Its detects more than one from what I can remember.

Hiyas folks,
I'm thinking of deserting nokia (finally...) and getting me the c702 model once it's released.
I absolutely need a phone that can take a bit of water and shocks.
This is also why I followed the nokia 5xxx toss and drown line, but they have gotten worse and worse.
Each 'new' model had less and less features (thermometer, soundmeter, adjustable snooze, picture count not ascending but reusing old numbers, no more possibility to have built in gps only external, .........) so I'm fed up.
Before I take this model, I have a few questions though, please excuse my ignorance about Sony Ericsson.
Does anyone know about the software of these models or its OS?
Can one install extra programs on it?
Can one set different alarms for an entire week?
What about profiles, are they timed (especially 'offline')?
And is it possible to record phone calls automatically (without an impossibly annoying 'beep' every 5 seconds!)?

@Ralse:
Does anyone know about the software of these models or its OS? Sony Ericsson's A200 Java platform. Similar to an SE K850i or W910i.
Can one install extra programs on it? Yes to an extent. Definitely not as much as say Nokia's S60 platform. Just simple Java applications.
Can one set different alarms for an entire week? It will have 5 alarms that can be set, plus a calendar which you can of course set appointments.
What about profiles, are they timed (especially 'offline')? Nope.
And is it possible to record phone calls automatically (without an impossibly annoying 'beep' every 5 seconds!)? As far as I know, it records phone calls without a beep, but you have to switch it on when you begin the call. Not sure about the beep though.
