Well this post has certainly kicked off! 14 pages and counting! - I just got the T300 but now i want BT! - but realistically noone around my area would have it - must have to goto a nice big city or somthing.

on SE's site there is a BT dongle but has limited support, none of the new phones (but maybe a firmware upgrade will allow connection to the dongle?)

Keep it up guys this is an awesome read! hahaha

@idries and mkt:

To get the best performance, please upgrade your T68 firmware to R6A.

Happy bluejacking!

@shithappens:

I agree, all is fair game... of coz, there is a way out policy for Nok*a users... buy a T68i!!!

@JwY:

Where are you physically located? City? Country?

Here in Malaysia it's kinda cool, coz there are quite a few users and quite a bit more brick users, so we have a lot of potential victims walking around and broadcasting a "hit me" message...

Nuf said, Happy bluejacking guys!!!

Forever!!!

@chrisgray999:

If my input is worth anything... here goes...

Setting a website just for bluejacking would be really cool and have it's moments of glory much like this forum (particularly this thread).

However, doing a site just on bluejacking creates (again, depends on your objectives) something which I feel does not benefit us users.

In this forum, all like minded people share a common love for phones and usually agree on the same things/objectives. If a bluejacking site was created, not only will users notice the site, but A LOT OF NON- users as well and if they start to notice, might complain and bitch about it and what will Nok*a do? Patch up their (ohhh! so precious...!) bricks and we will be left out in the cold. I feel it is safe announcing this in ESATO's forum where all can benefit, have fun and share but a website just attracts trouble and kills the bluejacking fun. I have to admit that I won't stop you and might actually visit any bluejacking site often (time/job permitting) but if you ask me...

Would you be happy that Nok*a users get an education and wise up to our bluejacking tactics? Where is the fun it that? Imagine! no victims! what a nightmare!

Anyway, that's my 2 cents worth. Boy! that was heavy reading/typing...

Have fun and happy bluejacking! Forever!

Cheers,

Greetings!

In December, just before Xmas, I was shopping around in a Mall, looking for gifts when I glazed my eyes on a Vodafone store.
The Vodafone Live! had just hit the stores at that time and there were a couple of curious guys playing with some gadgets (Sharp GX10, Panasonic GD87 and the famous Finish brick - Nokia 7650).

Just like our Malaysian friend, I came up with the "evil" idea of pokin' and jokin' with the guys who were playing with the Finish brick
I stood in front of the store, making myself not that suspicious ,made a Bluetooth search and voilá: "Nokia 7650" on screen!

Went to My Pictures on my t68i, and chose this lovely pic
Sent it trough BT and I took me a while to send the pic.
When I looked back at them, I saw them surprised but still they hadn't accepted the pic... "Are they just stupid, or what?! Come on nerds, just press the damm button!" - I thought

After a long wait, I got the sending status on my screen and then: "Picture sent"

You should have seen the look on their faces! They were really pissed!

Since then, I've been trying to joke around with Brick owners, but haven't had the same luck since then because they always manage to have BT off (lucky bastards...)

rulz!

bluejacked me a 6310i today guys!
sent him the old "buy a SE u brickhead".

yet again i couldn't see who i caught, but i gottem!

the story of necrosis about the 7650 "live", reminded me of the Batman soundtrack, when the joker/Jack Nicholson said: "UUUUUUUH! - I gotta LIVE one here!

@necrosis:

Bemvindo!!! é impeca escrever em português outra vez aqui
mais importante que isso é saber que há mais 1 bluejacker portuga
pensava que estava sózinho - parabéns pelo 7650 ao "vivo"

@chrisgray999 - I still think a password system is ineffective. Maybe because I come from a security background. You know how those security guys can be. \"We can never be 100% secured, we can only minimise the risk.\" Then, by our our own nature look to find the smallest cracks and try to wedge it open. Yeah, we worry a alot. I hope I am making sense here. :-)
