Cheeky cools. Not you coxy I mean SE. Do they have any idea how quickly a 64 mb card will fill up with a 3.2mp camera. I hope 1gb is out by then. Well at least now its on the CPW site. That must have only gone up today |

liking the K790i specs... the slider on the lens cover looks horrible though!  oh well.. even SE are allowed to make mistakes

On the contrary my k750 used to open by itself a lot in my pocket becasue it was vertical moving one in the same direction as the phone.
Where as with this one they seem to have corrected their mistake. The chances of the lens cover opening in your pocket will be a lot less now that its facing horizontal as oppose to vertical. Im glad SE have put this on the camera. I cant believe phones like the SHARP903 also have a 3.2mp camera module but no lens cover. |

@bavlondon2 I aggree, 64mb is just too little! The maximum capacity that the MSM (as I call it ) will reach this year will be 1GB. So thats not too bad, lets just hope it doesnt cost like £100!
Which one you gonna get? K800 or K790? K800 for me, future proofin! 3G may come through...one day.

Yeah maybe the 3g isnt so bad. My contract is up in August so i can upgrade in July. Just in time hopefully if the k790 is out by then. I think meory card prices will be a lot as the cheeky buggers are releasing the 1gb card to coincide with the release of this phone. Remember this isa new format of card that a lot of phones are using now including the new nokia ones. Thats another reason i wanted to get this over the w810. Plus it has bluetooth v2. |

I totally aggree with all the points youve made. I hope they allow the locking of files, messages etc as in motos.

Thats the only thing i dont lik about 3g downloads, you can transfer them to your pc but can t play them back on your pc and cant share tem ith your mates via bluetooth which is why im going for the 790 over the 800 |

Yeah but with the K800 you can use both 2.5G and 3G sims, as with the W900 (that I had) etc. Therefore as I'm on 2.5G atm, I could use my sim in it, or a 3G sim if I changed in future. Also for selling it, it may be worth more, due to the dual capabilities.

Good point. I see what you mean but why then would SE release one 3g version and the other not just to put edge on it . |

Well 3G is in use here in the UK and some of Europe. Also other places in the world. Which means video calls, but mostly faster data speeds. In other areas you cannot use 3G, but instead Edge. Which is basically 3G but you cannot use video calls, just faster data speeds. When compared to usual GPRS. Therefore it means that they have one product with different variations that is compatible, most of the world wide. So they can release the K800 in 3G areas, and the K790 in Edge areas.

Now i have to re encode all my clips to fit the bigger sized screen !!!!!!!! I guess itle be nicer watching films though now. |

Sure will. Im glad I can backup all my mem stick content. Coz I have some classic moments on my phones! lol. And these will be transfered to the K800 once i get it.

yeah me to ive gotloads of great clips fro amsterdam and stuff.

My dad has insurance, it isnt really necessary, but for the little extra, you can always cheat the insurance I s'pose, if you're that type.

Nah ive never tried that before. I was under the impression that once aphon has been registered as lost or stolen its blocked throughits IMIE. |
