Don't forget everone, the Japanese SO903i already runs symbian(and I don't think it's S60), with a 3" Bravia non-touchscreen......

the Symbian based OS on SO903iTV is co-developed with Sharp in Japan, it will and can only stay in Japan, as part of the liscensing deal |

2 sliders (sliders, sliders, not swivel, no fancy hinges, not the 2 i'm talking about at least)
1 for japan due late may (might be SE's 3.5G phone, 3.5G being Rev.A or HSDPA)
1 for europe
cool color scheme, experimenting with material and finishing techniques
color that changes with viewing angle
shiny surface that does not stick fingerprints
Japanese companies at 3GSM:
in case ur interested, panasonic will show 2 flip smartphones that looks more like HTC than panasonic; sharp should have a HSDPA phone ready for europe (they might also be showing the first VGA screen Aquos phone, which will be announced in May the latest anyway). Toshiba, we all know, the 2 sliders. Kyocera has some boring stuff for the american market, to fit with their taste and consumption pattern (sorry, blame the majority)

i think those speakers are getting softer and softer nowadays (look at Samsung and LG, they used to be one of the loudest)
Don't know why, power management? thickness of the device? or Yamaha just doesn't allow/design post-MA-7 chips to be that loud... or does it have anything to do with EU's policy on portables? (remember the iPod volume issues?) |

For late May, are you talking about release or announcement. I heard they may be a new slider in the pipeline.
Sofia will have HSDPA according to some reports. This means that the slider will be a revamped W850i without 3G, with variations on colour - one of the new E - series by the sounds of things.

Sofia/K850i and the W825 if that exists better look great. I would love to replace my aging W810i with one of these great phones. |

I think that we haven't got any spy pics of sofia because keeps it in secret for the last moment to make us more surprised and overwhelmed with sofia to make people want it even more. Even now when we don't see any photos and don't now anything for sure sofia is one of the most awaited devices of this year. |
