Oh no! Do I see touch buttons there?
It looks like the home button is physical, back and menu are touch sensitive. Good enough for me. |

Since we"re still dealing with rumors anyway :
http://www.iccellphone.com/20[....]ease-the-xperia-x10-mini-pro2/
"The main features of Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini pro2:
◎ sliding cover design, 3.5mm headphone jack
◎ 3 -inch capacitive multi-touch screen, 320*480pixels
◎ The Android 2.3 operating system
◎ Built-in Qualcomm 1GHz processor
◎ TrackID music recognition
◎ 5-megapixel camera, LED flash
◎ support 720p HD video recording / playback
◎ Support FM Radio
◎ Support 2ADP Bluetooth / USB Interface
◎ HDMI video output support
◎ Support A-GPS satellite navigation
◎ Support Adobe Flash 10.1
◎ Support Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n wireless network
◎ Support DLNA
◎ GPS satellite navigation support
◎ Built-in 320MB memory, memory capacity
◎ expansion through microSD memory cards
Take above specs with a heavy grain of salt since there's no definitive news yet for the Mini Pro 2. Have to admit though that I"ll be torn between the Neo & this (if it exists). I still very much prefer a physical keyboard but don't really like large un-pocketable phones so I was considering the Mini Pro last year. Unfortunately, a 1 Ghz ARM CPU is a must for me.

Am guessing the above info to be 80% accurate..
I guess we wont see Bravia screen+Exmor Camera (to cut down the cost) or maybe even hdmi port. |

Yeah I don't think they would put Bravia tech into a phone with a 3 inch screen. People would say the technology is crap when in reality their screen is just a bit small to be good for movie watching.

I disagree, Walkman X has a very good screen and its 3". I mean those who are going to purchase mini, want it because they dont want a large screen large phone. So for those whom its aimed for, would definitely welcome it..

I just wish the Mini 2 still has the size of the original mini (2.55" or 2.4") with Gingerbread, HVGA resolution, same hardware (the camera and the likes, HD recording is welcome) and 's current theming (like the other 2011 XPERIA models) and I'm solved.

I'd like to think all new Xperia range will now have HD recording, if not now then with future updates.

While I love my MiniPro, a screen size increase to 3" would be more than welcome. Having HVGA resolution on the current screen makes no sense at all. Things are small enough already.

That's great! When is the announcement? I really need to know when it is as I'll replace my phone this May or June. I'm still undecided whether I'll go for an X10 or wait for this. |

Maybe there will be two "minis" then? 3.3 is definitely to big for a mini |
