I am so not into phones at the moment Tsepz.By been that way it make the Gingerbread update wait a little less painful. All I can see on XDA is Gingerbread custom Roms from Jerpelea and Trip.Unfortunitely both are still works in progress and not good enough for me to try out yet.Very disappointing. Will get excited about all things mobile again I think once I get that update on my phone.

Hobbs
That will indeed make the wait less painful, unfortunetly with this exam study break all i do is study and read mobile blogs and ofcourse FB and Tweet and even there im hit with mobile news lol, got me a new hobby today though, im trying my hand at foreign exchange trading with FOREX, got a 30day practice account which will allow me to get into the hang of things, maybe some day i'll do it with real money, using the Forex Android app to trade and also watching Bloomberg for news and tips, should keep me going until next month
Sweet pics there Wanqs, P1 still going strong i see.

This is what the phone looks like inside:
Firmware ver :2.1
Baseband;2.1.54
Kernel:2.6.29
Build:2.1.A.0.435 |

@JMash: Try this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=945264
Might need to do some reading if it is your first time..... It will give you a new phone. Add the undervolting tweak when you are feeling more confident. Excellent battery life.... |

Jmash Congrats on the X10.If you are interested in an alternative for Android 2.2.1 then try out the FreeX10 Beta 4.

They are both good.It just comes down to personal preference.Do you like clean and basic or layered and themed.

Congrats on your X10 Jmash!
I'm absolutely loving mine especialy with Wolfbreak's 2.2 Froyo Custom ROM (the one Rob linked you to), it just flys and is very reliable.
I'd highly recommend Dolphin HD web browser, it has a whole lot of sweet plug-ins and is smoother than the built-in browser.
QQPlayer for playing vids of all formats
Aldiko or Kindle for ebook reading, both are good.
EasyTether to use your X10 as an HSDPA modem
Netcounter to keep track of your data useage (very important as you know with Android)
Opera Mobile, pretty good browser
ADW launcher and LauncherPro, both awesome launchers, im currently using ADW and very happy with it. Hope that helps.

Wow Tsepz That tablet looks really cool.Honeycomb looks sweet.Lucky bugger.Ive got a contract thats due.Ends on June 30th.Whats the cheapest on contract you can get that tablet for? lol
Jmash You cant go wrong with either of those 2.2.1 roms. They both are fast.I just keep them both on my SD card and change between them every now and again with xRecovery.
PDANet-I use this to tether.Get your version 300 from the site that starts with 'I' for full browsing experience. The free app doesnt allow https sites.
PowerAmp-Music player with equalizer and full screen widget.Very nice.
Operamini-As a alternative to Browser. You have a massive choice here.Dolphin HD,Firefox,Opera Browser ect Download the lot and see which one you fancy.I just use Browser and Operamini.
ASTRO-Good file manager.
TypeFresh-If you like changing your system fonts.(needs AndExplorer file manager if you gonna use it)
Just Pictures-Alternative to your Gallery app for viewing photos.
Will add more later.
