5.1" 21:9 makes 4.1" 16:9 which fits perfectly into an iPhone SE body if they can keep the bezels small. But I doubt they will release such a tiny phone in 2019. |

Not sure if my calculation is correct ...
5,1" 21:9 screen would be = 11,9 cm x 5,10 cm = 60,7 cm2
XZ2c screen has 64,5cm2.
X Compact screen has 58,3cm2
Iphone 8 screen has 60,9cm2
So let's suppose the bezels are about 6mm (top) and 4mm (bottom).
Because I do not know their size on Xperia 1.
We would have something near 13cm.
Bit taller than XZ1c.

With the tall aspect ratio you need to be sure that the screen width is reasonable and not narrow because using it in portrait mode would be awful. If this 'compact' phone is tall, it's 100% taller than the XZ2 Compact. |

Yes @Hawk I remembered it to be 111mm for whatever reason, leaving over 1cm. You're right, if they keep the same bezels we're looking at a 134-135mm device but the width would still be in the iPhone SE territory.
The leaked blurry photo from ZodiacX showed no chin, smaller upper bezel. Maybe if the bottom is 3mm, up is 8mm, it would be 131mm.
Badassmam, you're also right but even at 5.1 it's still larger than iPhone SE which many people like using.
If they could make it 58.5x130 and make it look premium enough it could look really sleek with that narrow waist.
Maybe Sony should work on something like Samsung's one ui. |

Just read P30 review.
Night shot 100x better than S10+.
No OIS and higher ISO.
Bigger sensor is a huge advantage...
