That's my biggest wish. But I don't think so. If they were planing to bring out a X10 pro they would have announced it together with the "Fabolous Five" i think...

But Sony Ericsson might think that it might harm the sale for the X10 first batch due next month if People hold out if there was a X10 Pro? they might Announce a X10 Pro in the Next few months with the 2.1 update or more?

Xperia X10 Hands On: Closing Thoughts

So, there you have it and I’ll admit, having just re-read the above myself, this reads as if I think that the Xperia X10 is a masterstroke of handset design. Ultimately, however, this is exactly what I think and I see no justifiable reason as to why I should pretend otherwise.
Had the X10 have left me feeling cold, I would have told you. But it didn’t. What it did do is serve to reaffirm that, as mentioned above, Sony Ericsson have woken up, smelt the coffee and have obviously decided its time to reaffirm themselves in the handset market. And the X10 will indeed do just that, and it’ll do it with aplomb.
The Xperia X10 is a revelation. It not only looks great, but it runs like a dream and the thought SE have put into this handset – its design, its features, its usability – positively shines through. The X10 is sheer brilliance, pure and simple.
Or, if you really want me to put myself on the line here, I’ll put it another way. Alex (our Sub) asked me, on my return from the SE press event, whether I’d actually consider replacing my beloved iPhone 3GS with an X10 and I could only offer him a single word answer.

Yes.

Ha ha, that was a great read, thanks for posting. The TS and MS applications sound great as he described them there.

Excellent article. I wish it was a full review.

I hope the AT&T rumor is false. Though I want SE to gain marketshare, i want to have a unique phone. Call me selfish.

I can't wait for the NA version!! I hope it comes out by April at the latest (which is when Rogers in canada is supposed to get it).

And that's just on 1.6. Wonder what can really be improved/added on 2.0/2.1?
The X10 is really one exciting device.

The X2 vs Samsung Wave screen comparison is from my look at Wave and the new Super AMOLED display. http://www.esato.com/news/mwc/article.php?id=39

The Wave display is probably one of the best I've seen. I could not directly compare it with another regular AMOLED. Neither did I have the chance to inspect it in sunlight, as the sun was gone behind the sky the day I spent with Samsung phones.

@laffen
Thanks for the clarification re: the photo.. I certainly wasn't criticising the photo per se, just saying that we couldn't write off the X-Series displays purely on the basis of it. As with many other posters here whilst the screen will be important for me, because of the fact it's an entertainment phone, I feel that the overall package is what's getting me amped about this handset.
@wiraperkasa nice find re: that Android site. For me the most interesting thing was the hands-on vid with the Samsung with the projector built-in.
http://www.androidos.in/2010/[....]g-beamhalo-hands-on-video.html
With 3 hour battery life and a handset which is smooth running but Fugly to look at IMO, I think I'd still rather run something like the Aiptek pocket Cinema, if I was that desperate for portable projection, but it does give me hope that in future it could be a really cool extra feature. Looking at how far both Phonecams and Mini projectors have come in recent times, it can't be far off being a useful addition.
@Anders260 thanks for that detailed preview, refreshing to see someone be so honest and open-minded.
Sorry almost forgot to thank xperia_man for his info..Hope you're getting time to enjoy the phone, you must be snowed under with requests from envious SE fans.
Lastly I know it is a cry often put out on here, but if anyone from SE does monitor this forum, please at least confirm a UK date and some carriers ASAP.. I really want this phone, like yesterday.

Is the back nice and solid or does it creak like the Pseries and the W960?
I have owned the ... T68i T610, P800, P900, P910, P990, W950, P1, W960 But SE have now totally lost the plot.
