Yes, the video above is of a custom rom. Bootloader still not cracked though, but things are looking promising.

Have you seen the X12 yet : http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_[....]the_anzu_spotted-news-2066.php

Thanks for those links to Root Optimizer by the way Rob.
Im considering trying it out, but not sure if i'll be okay with losing the built-in Home launcher, very tempting though.

Definetly not doing it! I use the Gmail app due to the excellent push email, use Mediascape for music and pics, i use TrackID a lot etc... overall its going to ruin my phone for me, i no longer like ADW Launcher, hate K-9 Mail and not a fan of Vignette lol, wish they could have just left the X10 the way it was and just added JIT on its own.

Guys, guys...... no need to do any of the other stuff besides install JIT. I have never run the other scripts that they have inserted into the batch files.

Just run the JIT installer - there is even a install/remove script if you want to get rid of it afterwards (or just switch it off for a while). I recommend following only Jerpelea's V002 script - the other ones do all sorts of things that you can do yourself with Titanium for example.

I find that I need to do the "DeviceID into text file" bit manually sometimes as the script doesn't always work - if you find the same just delete that bit from the batch file and do it yourself. Shout if you want more detailed info (there are plenty of loooong threads now with multiple versions that do different things..... getting more confusing instead of easier)

I have just reflashed to Nordic and rerooted with SuperOneClick and added JIT again as my LED stopped working under 2.1 for some reason. Not sure when it stopped but I hope it is sorted out now.

I am looking forward to trying a custom ROM in a few weeks time...... till then 2.1 with JIT will be just fine! (just got 735 in Quadrant, up from 430 without JIT).

Go play......

Go to Settings- Accounts & Sync- Turn on Auto Sync and enable your @gmail account sync, it seems to be off by default.

It's all in the build.prop file that gets copied across:

debug.sf.hw=1
dalvik.vm.heapsize=32m
kernel.log=default

What method are you using exactly and where are you seeing the message?

Its when i run the JIT v2 installer, i think i know why i got that though, its due to me not having completely gone over the Read Me, i needed to run the RunMeWindows.bat ,so will try again later when im on the pc.
Just saw the topic on the Custom ROM: http://is.gd/gXTcT exciting times ahead for us.

Okay, let me know how it goes.

My reflash to get my LED working was in vain. Seems to have been my "Settings Profile" app that behaves differently under 2.1..... oh well, didn't take long to flash though. At least i know what the cause is.

Will do indeed.
Great you found the cause, your X10 must be getting sick of being flashed over and over again, im sticking to Nordic for now until the next update, then i think i may switch to Global, but thats if the custom ROM isnt out yet, as when its out il be saying good-bye to SE's slow updates.

@Tsepz.
Good luck getting that JIT thingymegingy working.They say v3 is around the corner so it just seems useless to me doing v2.
@ROB
Glad you found the root to your problem.You sure do flash the F out of your handset lol

Version 3 has been cancelled due to the new ROM on its way. Not sure how long that would take though, so V2 will have to do for now.
