@tapas123 It sounds like a proper bug in the FW. I think the best you can do is hope for fix in the next FW or find a compromising workaround.

Xperia Z display comparison between Sharp & JDC...
Sharp left vs JDC right
I really don't know what to say more, just confused...
This is what Gsmarena told me when I said to them that they need to make an article about the display of XZ since they had made an article about the burst mode.
"The Xperia Z we had from Sony was with the same screen the Xperia Z we got from retail, was with the same screen the Xperia Z we got from a carrier, was with the same screen the Xperia Z I bought from an online retailer.
So far we haven't found an Xperia Z with a different unit. I heard about the Japanese version of the handset, it indeed uses slightly different display, but the differences seem so minor, that without the other unit you can't even spot them.
Kyle"
Could someone send them these pictures?

Tapas, you don't need to install Antivirus. So just remove it.
If at all you still want one, I'd recommend LookOut Mobile security

It's due to Anti Virus app. Same thing will happen if you install some battery saving app. Nothing with the phone |

That is possible that a badly written app screws the FW.
Just remove it.

Thanks! I just unbranded the phone with very impressive and simple flashtool!
I will not root my phone, I'll rather test OperaMobile 14 further, I hope it will grow into impressive browser.
And I suppose none of the flash players work with the browsers, no?
On T the Flash worked with OperaMobile 12, on Z it apparently doesn't.

Flash works flawlessly with dolphin on XZ. First you need to get a specific adobe flash apk version with a specific dolphin version (outdated though). Then update the dolphin. You'll find that flash no longer works but don't fret, just reinstall the older version of dolphin and lastly reinstall the updated version (that you've backed up) again and you'll find flash working like a charm. I'll update you later on (if you're interested) which versions you should install as I did that for my wife's Z and it's with her right now. I even got Chrome to support flash (for a while) when I installed the old dolphin version. But after I updated, I could'nt replicate the result anymore for Chrome till now

Ricky, what is bug in the FW???
A bug (in this context) is a fault or hole in a section of code.
'FW', as I shorthanded, is the firmware.
I didn't think that it could be interference from an ant-virus program. My suggestion is to stay away from anti-virus programs. If you pay attention to what you're doing (i.e. don't go installing apps from dodgy Chinese forums and 2nd rate porn sites) you don't need it.
