Orang3 - I am facing the same problem with a t68m(i) with R5D firmware. Worse, the phone not only shuts down but would reset itself, hang, change profile to handsfree and reset the phone lock code by itself. I have sent it back to the service centre for them to take a look. Cheers.

scrreech--> Yes. $1 per ems. I've had it on my bill. The cheapest mms after the free trial is $1.50. cost will be file size dependent but no details as yet.

Dairin--> Did you call M1? so is MMS still free and if so , until when?

M1 sure makes me want to kick the damn sunshine out of them. Bloody network keep failing me agin this morning.

Irony: I work just across their corporate office at International Business Park! [addsig]

Just got off the phone with those people walking on sunshine. We can send (or supposed to be able to) mms to Singtel but not StarHub. No mms charges until further notice. So it looks like you don't have to worry about your bill dairin! [addsig]

a buck an EMS? are you sure? aren't EMS messages just formatted SMS messages? if need be they span more than one message. i've sent so many to my friends, and i dont' see any extra bills for them.

As i've said before, i am using m1 and it used to cost a buck. Ems is not supported by their network now anyway. And it is not preformatted sms as you need a ems supported phone. Sms does not support animation and embedde sound files. It is a totally different format altogether.

It is precisely why m1 does not support ems anymore because it is not popular and cost too much. Other networks have different charges.

hi to all in here...
i'm new to esato and would like to ask all of u guys in here something...
i saw a ad in yahoo auctions, there's a guy who is selling his t68m which has its housing changed to t68i's.. anyone knows whether SE does that? i check with one of their guys at killiney and he told me it fits perfectly but it will damage the PCB board after some time...
Anyone in here can answer my doubt? Thanks....
