Yup, those are real girls. One really couldn't tell from pictures only, but I got a close look at them. |

@k4m, the color looks like a typical Nokia pale bluish crap. I think it is from 6230.

Well, all I can say is this: the picture of the rose and the T-shirts DID come from my Nokia 6230. Be sure. I have no special reason to say any brand or the other makes better pictures because I have both phones. What is evident cannot be denied. Nokia 6230 pictures are better. My K700 makes good shots when there is enough sunlight but not so good when taking a picture to a close object that reflects the light (white zones appears).
For more, N6230 in much better than K700 at night mode. Much better.
I don't know why you say you cannot take sharp pictures with the N6230. Maybe the protective glass in your back cover is not polished or maybe you havenīt set quality to "high".
I am happy with the N6230 and the K700. I just want to put over the table the real capabilities of both phones.
I hope K750 overcome this "problem" of low performance under poor light conditions. |

Well the blue maybe "Nokia crap" but the red and pink are definately SE crap and the noise in the t-shirt pictures is most surely SE crap.
K700's camera is easily beaten by other camera's of other brands. Colours (any shade of red red => bright pink) are no good and when there's less than bright sunlight the noise is very distinctive. You can recognise a SE less-than-bright-sunlight picture from miles away.. Now that's crap!
Sorry mate but I'm a loyal SE user just like you I suppose and I also like to shout 'crap' to any Nokia for whatever reason because that is what all not-se phones are, just money wasted on pure 100% crap -- but we have to admit k700's camera is ... crap.

I am definately a loyal SE man myself, but I do agree that in anything but optimum conditions the N6230 wins, but under those rare occasions of optimum conditions (good sunny daylight, preferably outdoors), the k700 wins with better sharpness and colorreproduction.
k700 doesnt adapt to non optimum conditions as well as the n6230, and since these conditions are the most normal, overall I'd say the n6230 wins. No matter how much I love my k700.
To me its not a big deal, as I didnt get my k700 for the camera, but because the rest is a nice phone. I hardly ever use the phonecam, I'd rather use my normal digicam, but for those spur of the moment pictures where you only have the phone with you, the k700 fullfill my needs ok. Ive taken some pretty good pictures with my k700.

I must be the only one who thinks the 6230 images are always considerably worse than the K700i's then..
Even in those pictures, i prefer the K700i pictures, they're brighter and more vibrant. Nokia cameraphones always seem to have really dark or vignette style pictures.

We all know the limitations of the two cameras so why do we insist on taking crap pictures? It's obvious that Nokia color is overall crap and the uncontrolled noise reduction messes up the image's details. While sony takes crap pictures in dim places because it doesn't want to mess up the details. So what's the big deal? Why do we have to be so close minded about these facts?

Now comon guys lets just get down to the basic's..SE vs Nokia Camera..Well forget it..The point of this fourm is to share media clicked by the K 700 series..Users who tend to defer could create a new fourm called " Nokia vs SE cameras"..Lets just keep it to K 700 here..

At the end of the if you want decent pictures then BUY A DIGITAL CAMERA!!LOL! If you want to phone your mate use an SE phone!!! Do you use your digital camera to phone your mates? Or maybe I should try using my printer to phone people on, its got a scanner incorporated after all so why not a phone? |

OK. That's true. If any of us really want a very high quality picture we just need a good digital camera. But not a Sony camera. I read that they are planning to reduce (or even eliminate) their Cybershots because they think camera phones will take digital cameraīs place soon. So, I am waiting for the K750 to show up here...
