The main advantage of that dell is also its down fall. A screen that size is great, tho who has pockets big enough? Reminds me of trying to carry an early psp around. Also I have a feeling it will cost a bomb. |

Pathetic response, I'm no SE fanboys but only tech geeks like yourself actually care about wether its 1.6 or 2.1. The average person who buys this from a phone shop couldn't give a sh*t about what version platform it is on. They wouldn't even know the difference either. |

And WM7 in q2 this year, where? Definately not til later this yr.

The 256k color screen is what I do not like most about the x10. That screen color is not what a person should expect from a high end phone of 2010. The Android 1.6 does not bother me as long as SE can promise they will update x10 to newer Android version.
Also, I just hope SE will add more features to x10 before selling it (FM Radio with RDS, HD recording with continuous focus , bigger internal memory and RAM etc.). SE has to make X10 relevant until the end of the year, considering the plethora of high end devices that will be released in 2010. |

For those who want to spend their money on this phone.... go and do it.... it's your money (or your mom's money) after all.. 
But mark my words one more time.. in 3 months you will be searching for a new phone seeing how far behind the competition SE is! (and this is sad )

unless the new phones can make me coffee on demand or cook me lunch, i'll be fine with the x10.
with whatever features the new stuff has, sure it might be better but i've been playing the "wait for the next biggest thing" game for years now. I want a new phone. I like the x10's style and it does plenty. With an upgrade within the year, it'll do even more. I'm satisfied with that. As long as it's not super slow, it doesn't have a TON of bugs that make the phone frustrating and unusable... I'm happy.
As far as i know, no other phone has face recognition or the simplicity that is provided by timescape and mediascape. Of course I'm talking about right now.
For me, I'm just done waiting and out of what's available right now, the X10 looks the nicest and has what i want.

Wow, what a bunch of whiners!! THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING BETTER around the corner. Period.. X10 just happens to be the best allrounder, that's what counts you miserable spoiled brats (you know who you are), hijacking the thread and sailing off topic. I think Mods here are too soft in their actions. With all due respect, Mods need to up the game, tackle and deter some of imbecilic behavior for appropriate viewing and contribution by other posters, who beside posting in here, have real lives.

Important question: My country is not listed in the supported countries for free apps in Marketplace of Android...
It means I can't download a single app to X10??
Can't it be bypassed?
