The local Barnes & Noble bookstores also yield lots of good opporunities. People are often seated in the couches and divans reading or standing in the book areas. Lotsa BT phones in the bookstore last night. I sent, "Why are you looking at the porn books?" to two different phones. Wish I could have seen the reaction!

It wouldnt be hilarious if you sent that picture to a child, that would be pretty nasty..
Taking the odd picture of pretty girls is just being cheeky, not nasty.

Was at the Rose festival and did my first successful bluejacking. Many ppl waiting in line to get on the rides. The perfect victims. I had a Nokia 3650 on the radar, but my phone was waiting for a reply to send the message, so I did not get to send it. However, got another device during my search. It just said phone. I send "Serious Error detected" and it went straight through. Because it was pretty loud around I never got to spot the victim. Still my evil self got a kick out of it. hehehehe

I have this problem with my t610. Few days back I sent some stuff to my friends t610, everytime i tried to send him something my phone didnt search for devices it automaticly showed my friends t610(ok so far so good). But later when i was at the mall i tried to sent some1 I found a contact and again my phone didnt serch for devices it automaticly showed T610 which belonged to my fiend (but he wasnt there!). So then i tried to send anything by bluetooth and again that t610 still didnt disappear! so I reboot my phone and everything was just good, but the thing that bothers me is that after i bluejack some1 I have to reboot my phone so that this device which i bjacked can disappear.
help!

Yes, that happens to me as well, it's not a major problem, just an annoyance isn't it! It happens to me as well on my P800, and on my Nokia 7650. Don't worry about it.
btw, this is probably a rather naive question, but what's this 'goatse' man? I've heard lots of people talking about it, but no idea what he/it is. If it's rude, it's probably best to pm me!

They mentioned something about "long stretch" being related to it... I'll leave your imagination to do the rest!
I bluejacked a few people in Pizza Express the other night - it was Friday night and the place was queued out the door. The first time I scanned I found no less than five available BT devices, but only a couple accepted - most just switched their Bluetooth off.
It was pretty humourous though, a guy with an incredibly hot girlfriend walked in and when I scanned a little bit later I found a new device named "Dan"... so of course I told just how good his girlfriend looked in the top she was wearing The look on his face was priceless as he looked around to see who could've done it... |

@Guy89: When you initially search for BT devices with a T610 or T616, the screen says 'searching...' After you have paired with a device (eg sent a message), and you go to search again, the phone you paired with will still show, but if you look carefully, it says, 'searching...' at the top of the screen. It confused me for a while too, but it really is searching. If it bothers you, the only way to get rid of the device from showing is to turn the phone off then on. Resetting your phone wastes precious electrons from the battery. Just one of those quirky things about BT.

pairing isnt sending a message... its when two bt devices enter a code and 'pair'you can do things like dial-up and headset, etc.

Also, the reason why it still shows your last bluejack victim is so you can send more things to them, without having to search over and over again, the phone assumes you know the person and are still in range.
Its not a bug, the phone does it on purpose !
Remember, Bluetooth wasnt made for bluejackers.
As Blex said, the phone still searches, look what it says at the top of the screen !
