I know this is a P990 thread but I'm torn between a P990 and an N93 (see my other thread if you like).
I'll probably get the first one that's released as they are both suitable for me; so I was excited to receive an email from a friend of mine who works for Nokia...
'we started shipping N93 last week ...
So they should be in the shops soon'
It's a race - who's going to win?!

Is the connection for the headset the same as for example w810i? I want to be able to use the cable from the W800i to get an minitele-plug to connect what earphones I want.... or to connect it to a stereo or other audiodevice.

Just phoned o2 to see when my contract is up, I didn't realise being a select o2 customer I could've upgraded after 9months (May) doh! But they said that the P990 won't be released until 14th Aug...double doh.... |

bit off-topic, back to the Nokia N93 discussion... IMHO the Nokia N93 and P990 are not really positioned for the same buyer group, thus not very comparable.
The N93 is more of a multimedia, camera device, not a PDA / Business Tool that the P990 is trying to be. It would probably be a better bet to compare the N93 to the SE K800, even though the N93 has many more functions.
The P990 is more comparable to the Nokia Communicator series of devices.. |
