Dont give up just yet Tsepz. It sounds to me like
a USB problem.Make sure the USB port you plugging
it in is USB 2.0 Enhanced. So if its on a desktop use
the back ports not the front ones.See if that works.
I remember when I use to jailbreak my iPhone when
it wasnt a USB 2.0 port it failed everytime.
That tutorial works. It sounds to me like a PC USB problem
from your side.

Guys, Motorola have just given me a very, very tempting proposition in the Droid X.

It is what I can see myself upgrading to. The Omap processor running at 1ghz, 4.3'' screen, Android 2.1 with Froyo promised and Moto's superior in-call quality make for my perfect phone. The downsides are the screen isn't as vibrant as the X10s, the camera and video recording (HD) lag behind the leaders. The last major downside is that it is currently for the US which means the worldwide version may be here next year over here.

Let's see what else is on offer but this phone has got me very interested unless Moto or even SE come up with a P1i-esque phone.
It's not what you do or even how you do it but in what state of mind you do it: Dups! 2009

Hobbs: Are you sure it has finished yet? If I remember correctly it reboots a few times before it gets to the four dots.
Try again and give it more time...... lots more...

I mean it boots up completely after the 2nd dot and doesn't reboot again, so it doesn't complete the unpack.

Its shouldnt boot up properly until all four dots are

have that.

Tried it on my desktop which is old, only got 512mb ram and 2.88ghz cpu, but also tried on my laptop which has 2GB ram, 2.06ghz cpu and 120gb c: on Windows7 and samething happened, it's fine though im not in a rush, will figure it out, or I'll just debrand. Very happy with my X10 the way it is, lol my home screen keeps changing almost every day as i just can't make up my mind, and my friends have begun calling it the "TV Screen " it just towers over their BlackBerrys.

Have you tried downloading from 4shared? Find any paid app in the Market, then just search for it at 4shared, that's how i got the full version of YXPlayer, it gives the register screen, but no more Google ads, and can watch a full video. By the way when searching for the apps make sure you put .apk at the end as that's the format Android apps are in.

Lol, i see you also using ADW Launcher there Hobbs, excellent app, i only have one homescreen, I must the only Android user who doesn't like multiple homescreens.
Is it just me who has beef with the Camera button? It's so dam small and requires a hard push to actually take a picture, otherwise picture quality is great.
