Oh ja, and a German beat an Englishman in the Formula 1 today as well.

Also today, quite amazingly, England's cricket team (England's Foreign Legion? LOL) have just sealed the ODI series against Australia! 3-0 so far with 2 matches still to go! Who would've thought this a year ago?
At least now it won't be all doom n' gloom in the papers tomorrow, not that one can draw too many parallels with the enormity of another Football World Cup exit for the Poms.

Spain must be the most frustrating team to play against with their ability to hold on to that ball with such ease.2 day break and then the good stuff begins.
Just imagine this sweet ending.

With Spain it depends on the team they are playing. I really don't think the Portuguese are a special team like the Brazilians, in fact, I find them pathetic to say the least.

I don't think the Spanish will have it easy against the well organized and efficient Germans or the equally skillful and gifted Argentina, add Brazil to that equation then it becomes quite interesting. Don't forget the Dutch as well.

I like Ghana but to expect them to win the trophy is a bit too ambitious Hobbs.

They have a slight chance, not overwhelming, to reach the semis but I wouldn't be surprised if the don't go beyond the quarter finals. I think that they are still too young a team, the youngest in the tournament, and a little naive and inexperienced but I expect better things from them in the 2014 edition.

Eish, Hobbs!

I find it disturbing when a man cries because he has lost a football game, I understand the young boys up to the Under 20s but a grown man? Haikhona...

I feel for the Japanese though cause I thought they played well and deserved victory. I was actually cheering the Paraguayans on but they didn't deserve to go through.

I am not a fan of penalties.

So, i opened the safe this weekend, looking for something... And I Noticed my growing collection.
There are some phones I Wish I Kept (P800 Nok 6210 K700) but these are all still working 100% and I have the original boxes for 6 of them... Just thought I would share.

Nice Rhino!

Are they all still functioning? I will need to dig up my collection going back to 1998.

I see you miss the P800i, well, I'm not selling my P910i nor my P1i.

Actually, I'm not even selling the beautiful Moto V8. I have really fallen in love with that beautifully crafted Moto.

I also have decided not to give my daughter my W890i but to buy her a new one. The only phone I'm likely to sell is the Bold 9700 as I just don't feel it.

BRAZIL ARE OUT

I like Brazil but I didn't think they were good enough to win the World Cup thanks in part to Dunga who has introduced an un-Brazilian football to the squad.

Would be even better if Argentina is also kicked out after it beats Germany. Holland to lose to Ghana, Spain loses to Paraguay and then we have two unfancied sides in the final.

An African side versus a South American side. Now that would be an African World Cup to cherish and remember.

Oh Ghana!!

How in the world did they lose this one? Football is sometimes a cruel game.

Ghana had it but inexplicably lost it. The best team on the night lost, how sad and unfortunate.

Congratulations Uruguay for the tournament's greatest escape.
