Hello guys!

I updated my K750i from R1L002 to R1N035 and I noted a more consumaption of battery... with the same theme, the same use, with R1L002 it takes 1 week to recharge the battery... now... in two or 3 days is all gone...

And I think that the reception is not improved, it's worst, because in some places with R1L002 i had good sinal and GPRS signal, and noe in those places with R1N035 the signal is weak and no GPRS...

Anyone has thes kind of problems?

Best Regards to all of you!

I have just flashed my 02 (UK) w800i via SEUS following these isntructions (thank you!) and am now on R1NA005 so is this correct i.e.the latest?

cheers

I've just updated my W800i, and get R1NA005 too (I'm also on O2). It looks like a different version to that listed in the first post. Maybe a later version than documented in this thread.

Ah well if the latest version is the version you updated to, why ask if it is... Of course it is...

mwarner did a great job at compiling his data but somewhere along the line internal progress as escaped his grasp.... it does happen...

happycheesecake seems to be a wittle better informed.... so wilst he's been a little absent lately a pm may shed some light on whats to come...

He has mentioned other f/w updates that no one else here has.... peekaboo! [addsig]

I upgraded my phone to R1N from R1L this week. It is an O2 branded phone. I have had no problems so far. I just wondered did anyone else notice a bug with the pop up menu when messages are received. I have set my new events to pop up and not activity menu yet it only shows in the activity menu. Feedback would be appreciated.

Since updating mine, O2 branded to R1N, I have had it go wrong 3 times on me. What happens is that the back light on the screen goes off and will not come back on till I power off and on again. The screen is actualy still on tho just not lit up. Seems to happen when using the camera on video mode.

I have a Vodafone branded K750i and have just visited the SEUS website after carefully studying the instructions on this post.

When updating the phone, it told me that my software is up to date with R1L002.

What the hell? If R1N035 is the latest Vodafone update where do i get it from? Direct from Vodafone?

The rev. B of R1N035 does not solve the MS DUO bug. Just to let you know that.

Hi there!
Iīve asked this question before in another tread but no one seems to have the same problem as i have after uppgrading the firmware on my w800i. My problem is that i now have hissing and scratching sound when i listening to a soft song on the lower/lowest sound level. I can hear this hissing/buzzing/scratching sound clearly in the quieter parts of the soft songs. I have compared it with the sound on my k700i and there is no problems with the sound there.

Iīve been told that the volume has been cranked up/raised on the mp3 player in the new firmware and that means that the volume is higher also in lower sound levels- that is, you get the "bad sounds" that you didnīt hear with the old firmware. Iīve been ripping in mp3 format from original CD with disc to phone kbit/s 128, ripping in aac format from original CD with Itunes kbit/s 96 and kbit/s 128. And the sound is still crappy. Okey you can only hear this in the softer songs on the lower sound levels(and sometimes only in the quieter parts of the songs) but itīs there and its bloody annoying! My hearing isnīt that super good so thats not the problem! Heheh. It would be strange if my phone broke just when i upgraded it so that would be the reason for it to produce crappy sound!

So my questions are: Has anyone experiensed this? Any additional tips or pointers on what the praoblem might be and what to do? As i understand you can not roll back to the older firmware...or? At least thats what they told me on the service centre.

I would bee very thankful for answers/tips!

Hmm interesting! It might be the so called revision B. Or a version that is adapted to fit your country and operator (o2).
I live in Sweden and, as you see in my earlier post here, am not satisfied with my upgrade R1N035.

... Ah well, updated my unbranded K750i with the latest HOPING it would fix the bluetooth issue with the tomtom go 700 and..........

It hasn't fixed it !

Anyone wanna buy a K750i ?, I am sick of waiting and hoping for a proper fix to get these two devices talking to each other properly..

I don't think it will ever happen.

@onezone, I can test various K750i's against any TomTom product at work later today. Sorry if you've already posted your BT issues but PM me with the issues and I'll try to test using state of the art BT testing equipment...

As for that new firmware - R1NA005 - its the firmware we were testing a couple of weeks back (T1Q055, remember?). It improves audio and battery life(!)

And R1N035 - yes, there's a is an issue with battery life. The "improved signal" of R1N035 uses 20% more battery!
