Hello people, I am looking into getting a White PSP off the audiocubes website. Its Japeneese.
Am I right in beleiving that the Games for PSPs are Universal, but the Films are region locked.
If this is the case, would that mean that the games and films would work in the UK due to the Japs having the same region code as the UK in terms of films.

Yeah its all good with the white psp mate, i should know i've got one  all the uk games and films work on it without a problem

would anyone be kind enough to send me a game to download onto my psp? it is a version 1.5 so it will play copied games! thanks in advance! |

Yea pushed back till the 4th in EU only. The .iso of it needs 2.0 FW.

Yep serious mate. The audio is in a format (cant member which one) that only 2.0+ FW can play. If you upgrade to 2.0 still no good as homebrew won't run on 2.0.
Looks like s#ny have gotten smart.
So only way to play, is buyin it. Someone might make a loader but that may take some weeks.

Nah. The umd and iso CANNOT be played on 1.5, Only on 2.0+.
So Orig UMD is needed.

unless the videos are extracted. that is whats trying to be done currently as the videos in the game require v2.0 to play, so once extracted it will work on v1.5, but then there wont be videos.
