Just wondering...if Tilly is forever writing her exams...if Ihe's monologue has caught up with him(pocket wise)...if Coola has checked out or is still deep in spiritual cleansing...if Otokx has 'walked out' like south-south delegates ...if Seun is overwhelmed by nairaland... if motla's grades(or grace) are improving at Convenant University...if deeone will pop to apologize as usual for deserting... if brix25 has migrated to Australia.... if...

@mamba: Dont waste your cash on the SL55: poor battery life; poor signal sensitivity; firmware same as S55. Only difference is form and colour display. Plus, its more expensive!

@brym: I'm still here in the Mother City(Cape Town) enjoying a beautiful view of the harbour from my office. Last wk I almost bought a brand new SL65 for my gf but the screen didn't look too good(compared 2 my K700) and there were some issues like lack of BT. Nice looking phone though. Heard MTN have been asked by the Nigerian government to bid for a stake in Nitel.

@mamba: like Aya said, the SL55 has poor battery life, but in addition, it lacks bluetooth, and the slide mechanism tends to become problematic with age. Mine used to just shut off when I closed the phone. The S55 is a better option costing about N13k. I'm still using one and its almost 2yrs old.

@brix25; Always great to have you around. I know MTN is very interested in the Nitel sale; what I don't know is if they were asked to show interest by the govt.

the thin really is wouldn't Nitel stain MTN cos as far as i'm concernedNitel may never work and anyone aspiring to acquire it must be very very cautious....

While I am not much of an MTN fan, I submit that if there is any company with the type of aggressiveness that NITEL needs, it is MTN. I hope they win the bid.

lets wait and see@ll, where are the night owl 2day or what do u call them...but me think Mtn shouldn't b allowed to acquire Nitel bcos if they do they are wont to monopolise the Migerian telecom sector and that will b too baaad.

@demmy: No way they can succeed at that. But one good point about what you said is on competition.

If someone other than MTN gets it, that's one extra player in the market, and probably fresh funding, a new game plan, and a different approach to service delivery.

Ok; I hope MTN does not get it!
